Week 4 /Attribute 4 - Victory/Endurance/Determination (Netzach)
We have completed 3 weeks counting to Shavuot
Sitting At The Feet Of Our Master Yeshua
Endurance To The End
Rom 5:1 So, since we have come to be considered righteous by God because of our trust, let us continue to have shalom with God through our Lord, Yeshua the Messiah. Rom 5:2 Also through him and on the ground of our trust, we have gained access to this grace in which we stand; so let us boast about the hope of experiencing God's glory. Rom 5:3 But not only that, let us also boast in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance, Rom 5:4 endurance produces character, and character produces hope; Rom 5:5 and this hope does not let us down, because God's love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh who has been given to us.
Endurance produces character......
Bereshit Rabbah 60.2 "A potter does not examine defective vessels, because he cannot give them a single blow without breaking them. What does he examine? Only the sound vessels, for he will not break them with many blows. Similarly, the Holy One, blessed be He, tests not the wicked but the righteous as it says "The Lord tries the righteous". Jer 18:1-6 (KJV) 1The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. 3Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. 4And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. 5Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 6O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. Are we willing to be Clay in the Potters hands, so that he can mold us and make us into His image of holiness through Yeshua our Messiah and Master?
Heb 12:1 So then, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us, too, put aside every impediment - that is, the sin which easily hampers our forward movement - and keep running with endurance in the contest set before us, Heb 12:2 looking away to the Initiator and Completer of that trusting, Yeshua - who, in exchange for obtaining the joy set before him, endured execution on a stake as a criminal, scorning the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:3 Yes, think about him who endured such hostility against himself from sinners, so that you won't grow tired or become despondent. Complete Jewish Bible
Yacov/James 1:2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, Yacov/James 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Yacov/James 1:4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
You will never know what you can endure or how strong your faith is if it is never tested. YHVW will call us to do the impossible, things that are beyond our natural ability but that require 100% faith/trust in Him to bring it to pass so that He will get the glory and we will learn to endure the pressure that comes when we are doing His will.
There is not one great man or woman of the Bible that did not have to learn how to endure in order to see victory. Hebrews 11
Read Psalm 119:9-16
Psa 119:9ב(Bet) How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. |
