Haiti Youth Art Exhibition
July 3 - Aug 31, 2010.
at The Paint Spot
Last May, young artists ages 6-18 from the Art Creation Foundation for Children (ACFFC) in Jacmel, Haiti created over 60 paintings. The art was commission by Canadian playwrights Patti McIntosh and Tara Langlois. The art will be used in the backdrop for the play called "Theo in the Spotlight: A Concert for Haiti". It is part of the 'Theatre for Young Audiences' programming during the 2010 Fringe Theatre Festival. Learn more about the Edmonton Fringe Festival production at www.juniorglobalcitizen.org
Patti and Tara took art supplies to the children and the commissioned art work was brought home. It's so fantastic; The Paint Spot will be exhibiting all 60+ artworks in our art store for the entire summer. We will continue to help collect funds and provide materials for this organization. These exceptional works will be on display all summer at The Paint Spot.
