Take Me Out To The Ball Game

The Blackstone River, one of 14 American Heritage Rivers, flows between Worcester, Massachusetts and Providence Rhode Island. The John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor tells the story of the river's role in starting New England's textile industry and the American Industrial Revolution.

10:15 am Pre-Game Cruise aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer

Enjoy a riverboat cruise on the Blackstone Valley Explorer as a narrator tells the remarkable comeback story of this America Heritage River whose powerful waterfalls turned the waterwheels of the nation's earliest factories.

12:00 pm Get Ready to Enjoy Some Old-Fashioned Baseball

Baseball is still the real McCoy at McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox.  Recent renovations have not stolen any of the charm, affordability or tradition of Triple-A baseball's oldest stadiumClick here for the schedule.

4:00 pm Post-Game Dining Experience

After the game, savor a Blackstone Valley tradition, "Chicken Family Style", at one of our many fine restaurants.  A hearty meal that is served only in the Blackstone Valley, this dining experience started in the 1930's among the Italian immigrants playing Bocco on Sunday afternoons.
