MERCURY RETROGRADE
What does it mean?

Mercury Retrograde occurs three times a year, usually about every three months lasting about 3 weeks.
Mercury is the closest planet to our sun. It completes a journey around the sun in about 88 days, but due to a phenomenon knows as Mercury retrograde, it takes about a year for Mercury to travel through the astrological zodiac.
Mercury rules the mind, mental processes and all forms of communication including travel, speaking and writing. Messages, letters and faxes, e-mails, books, contracts, documents and transportation facilities all fall under Mercury's influence.
When Mercury's retrograde, expect delays, confusion, and misunderstandings as well as lost mail, transportation problems and failures in negotiations.
When Mercury is retrograde, it is a good time to do the "Re: word following:
Review, rejuvenate, reflect, repair, recheck, reschedule, rewrite, reformulate, and so on. Steer clear of signing contracts. Meditate and let your inner guidance redirect you.
I find Mercury retrograde is an excellent time to clear things. Because as Mercury goes direct again, whatever you have cleared during the retro period is more likely to be resolved.
On a final note, paying attention to what is going in in the celestial world can help one navigate a little easier in this world.

As well, being a Mother of a precocious 12 year old is a learning in itself. When I don't know what to do, or need help with my mothering skills, I call on the Divine Mother, to guide me.
The Divine Feminine aspect of creation is a devoted, compassionate, healing, fierce and creative force.
Our Mother Earth is a living entity that nurtures, gives and teaches wisdom if we but take the time to listen.
Yet, we don't always listen to Mom.
On this Mother's day you are invited to take a moment to honor the Mother that gave you birth, the surrogate Moms, the new Moms, the ancient grandmothers and our Mama Earth.

SPRING CLEANING!
Make Way For The New

So spring is here and you really want to feel good. Here are a few tips that can bring more lightness and freedom into your life and have you feeling like new.
- Clean our your closets, literally. Ask yourself if you love what you have. If not, pass it on.
- Assess all items in your home. Do your things represent the you of the past or the new "you are becoming?"
- Go on a food cleanse. Eat lighter. In winter the diet needs to be heavier. Listen to your body and ask what it needs to be cleaner and healthier.
- Do a chakra cleanse to update your energy field to accommodate the current you and release any outgrown patterns.
- Clean up your language. Check in to see if " the story" you are telling yourself sounds like the story you want to be telling. Aim to speak in self-
complimentary ways. - Refresh you goals. Reassess your dreams and visions that you made last spring, fall or winter. Have you achieved them? Do you still want too? Check in with yourself and make some new goals that you would like to harvest by fall.
- Be self-responsible.
If you are feeling victimized by life's circumstances take back your power. Realize that you are the chooser, doer and decider and it is up to you to initiate a change for the better. - Lighten Up. Find a way to not take yourself or life so seriously. Laugh more. Play more. Being an adult can be no fun if you forget to loosen up.
- Get outside. Nature is a wonderful healer. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of spring. Lay on the earth or in the many waters and just let go.
- Tap your creativity. Take a class. Learn a new skill. Do something you've always wanted to do or go somewhere you've always wanted to go.
Bottom line, allow yourself to enjoy this spring time and the cleaning out process. If you make the intention that you are allowing the new to come into your life, your spring cleaning actions will produce amazing results.

Greetings!
May! Probably my favorite month of the year. It begins to be warm enough to come out of one's shell and drop the winter layers but not too hot that one cannot tolerate being outside. It is a time of spring cleaning, something I have been doing plenty of, from cleaning out my closets, garage and just letting go of anything that does not represent what I love or value anymore. I am also preparing for my bi-annual garage sale. I love to release what I no longer need and experience a bit of my gypsy self interacting with bargain hunters.
Mercury has been retrograde since the 18th of April and will be until May 11th. This astrological configuration naturally impulses us to clean out our communication closets as well.
I use dowsing as a way to clean up the energy in my sessions with clients. Learn why I use dowsing in my soul coaching work in the article listed below.
Further in this newsletter, I will touch into other ways of spring cleaning that you can do to bring a sense of lightness and freedom to your life.

Emerald has become... I met her as a referral in Sedona. Her journey until now has had deep challenges that she courageously overcame. She was the caterpillar going into the cocoon not knowing what she would become. It has been an honor to work with her and witness her emergence into her butterfly self full of color, wisdom and life. I asked Emerald to be this month's featured client. " I have been working with Holly for 2 years. She has assisted me in healing many issues. In the January teleclass my intention was to complete a book I had started last October. I have now completed it, along with a book of poetry. Since working with Holly I have been writing poetry and have written 77 poems since January. They appear to me in holograms. The experience is like watching a movie. I see, feel and hear them. This is magical writing, the vibration of the poem fills my body. Our sessions have had a profound impact on my life and assisted me in living my soul's purpose.
I live in the Bay Area and have just written "Sacred Politics" (a handbook on politics as I have been guided to share) and "The Magic of Life" (a collection of inspired poems). I am in the process of manifesting a publisher. I have written both books since working with Holly, starting each the beginning of this year. I often found myself waking at 4 am, feeling the sense of a poem or paragraph for one of the books.
I have always found the mysteries of language fascinating. This has been a life long journey to deeper understanding for me. The first time I saw "fire script" over letters, my body resonated with the vibrations and my heart knew they held divine wisdom. Life is a dance with the universe and words a part of that dance, giving form to reality. Letters of language link our inner wisdom with our outer world of expression. Language is not just a tool for communication, the letter forms themselves are encoded with the knowledge of life and consciousness. Poetry is magical thinking in holographic language. I hear, see and feel them in living holograms. I create lyrical poems for a special person or event, such as a birthday or new baby. I do consultations to get the vibration, and then the poem appears to me. I also write poetry that holds the vibration for visions of holistic businesses. I look forward to crafting eloquent poetry for you."

Why I Dowse
| Pendulum Used For Dowsing  | Soul Coaching Through Dowsing
" Clean up your vibration " is a popular saying among energy intuitives. What that means is to keep your personal frequency in a place that is not bogging you down. Just like having too much clutter can restrict the " chi " or life force in a home, so too can having too much vibrational dross or " bad vibes" in your space can keep you feeling blue.
We are energy beings first and physical beings second. More often than not, shifting something energetically can help with all sorts of physical ailments, restrictions, constrictions and help lighten your load. One feels better, looks better and you just start getting the feeling that things are starting to flow again.
So what can bog you down that can be cleared energetically?
* OPL's - Other people's energy. If you are an empath at all, you are going to pick up other people's stuff. It is amazing how much " stuff " is not really yours.
* EMF's - Electro Magnetic Frequencies. Found in the environment specifically around electronics ie. cell phones and computers but also Geopathic stress or Hartman lines. Known also as positive ions.
* Entities - This includes but is not limited too discarnate entities, ghosts, negative energies and cling on's or spirit attachments.
* Contracts - Any contracts, or vows or agreements that you have made in your life stream that may have served you in the past but are no longer serving whom you are becoming, can really hold you back.
* Emotional Patterns - Habits of feeling including depression, anger, guilt, shame.
* Belief Systems - Let's say you learned that being in your power was a bad thing and so you spend your life avoiding situations that would cause force you to be in your power. These belief systems can hold you back from living your best life and also can be cleared.
These are just a few of the situations and causes that can bog you down energetically. With dowsing, one is accessing the field of all possibilities or the natural divine order of things. Then whatever is in the way of that or dissident in vibration to the natural harmonic field of vibration can come up to be cleared, healed and released.
I have found dowsing to be profound as a modality for assisting myself and my clients to reset the energetic complexities, and " divine " the natural blueprint that the soul is holding, sometimes dormant, just waiting to be accessed. It is one of the fastest ways I know for clearing an issue, cleaning the energy field and making way for the new and the true.

We are in tremendous collective change. There is so much shifting. if you think back about 10 years ago you will realize that change is happening. Of course, the quality of your own personal journey depends on you. Be gentle and forgiving of yourself and open to the greater YOU on your way to becoming. And, remember that the only constant is change so learn to make peace with things in flux while grounding into the consistency of your own beautiful being.
A wise friend once told me to enjoy every spring time as we only experience maybe 86 springs in one life. That put things in perspective. Since then, every spring I aim to fully enjoy the birds and bees, flowers and trees, and the cleansing process that helps me to be ME.
