My Year In Review
A year ago I was leaving for Bali, Indonesia to spend the holidays and new year. Bali is a land of light and dark. The Balinese are very forthright and celebratory of the fact that life encompasses both. That trip was pivotal for me in many ways. I knew when I returned I would have my own encounter with the dance of shadows and light.
Upon my return, I found out my rental house was in foreclosure. This was the second time I had been in the situation since I had moved to Sedona, AZ. I packed up my house, found another and moved my daughter and I. The house I moved to was a complete change. It was as if the Universe was saying, " time to come out and play with the stars."
Vortices abound in Sedona. The house I lived before was a very feminine, quiet, serene place. The house I moved into, and where I reside now, is very active in the land energy and is by this massive red rock called Castle Rock. There are a lot of UFO siteings here. A very high vibrational place. I am surrounded by nature and huge expanses of starry skies. I loved where I lived before, yet I love where I live now. The change, however, was inconvenient and I definitely had my resistance, but it all worked out.
After my April move, my mother, who had been battling cancer, began to decline rapidly. I immersed myself in her care traveling back and forth between Sedona and Phoenix where she lived.
I assisted her in a conscious dying process and on June 2nd, she passed. It took me a good month to re-orient myself as the passing over process happens on so many different levels for the one who departs and the ones that are left behind.
From July to August, I took a month and traveled to Mt. Zion National Park, Lake Tahoe, The Bay Area ( where family gathered to scatter Mom's ashes in the Paciifc Ocean) and then I took my daughter and I to Maui, Hawaii. Returning to Sedona, early August, I was so full of gratitude for my new home and getting to know another aspect of this amazing place I live.
I felt like I had a lot more to give and took the next few months to meditate and brainstorm on what I could offer my clients and community in 2010.
My daughter entered 6th grade and turned 12 December 4th. On the brink of her teens, she is finding her growing independence, as I am finding mine.
Now I turn towards my year review and say, ' Wow ! Huge changes.' I feel so much more integrated than I did a year ago. Challenges that led to opportunity. Shadows and Light. I am grateful for both.

A Holiday Prayer
May the Light that you are, continue to be revealed. May you never give up on yourself but rather believe and trust in the beauty and magic of your unfolding existence. May you share that journey and light with others so they may discover their own awakening. May the collective journey we are all on, be a blessing that allows more love to permeate our souls, the earth and our universe. May those that lost loved ones, homes or jobs, or are in that imminent journey of ending something they have attachment too, know that life continues even if the form changes. May they remember to be patient with the process of change and know that life will come around to face the light again. Happy and blessed Hanukkah, Winter's Solstice, Merry Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Years.

Light Brings Opportunity
Arriving at the end of 2009, passing through into the darkest time of year, we birth the energy of Light. What a year it has been. Energy accelerating yearly, as we come to the collective realization in quantum physics that "dark matter" is alive, communicable and impressionable by our thoughts and focused intent. What ever shall we impress upon this canvas? What a responsibility! What do we want to be observing as results during this time? It is a time to ask these internal questions even amongst the hustling and bustling of the Holiday Season. A time of giving. What thoughts do you give to this season?
Hanukkah, Winter's Solstice, Christmas, New Years, Kwanzaa are all times to celebrate the festivals of light returning - a new energy which brings new opportunity. There is a lot I could share about these significant ceremonies, suffice to say they are collective rights of passage for transitioning from dark to light, spirit/energy to matter and old to new.
Light and Dark they are infinitely connected. Without one you cannot recognize the other. Be forgiving. Be allowing. Be aware. Be intentional. We are being prompted by The Universe to grow - up... towards the light, while we observe and respect and learn from the dark. Dark is not wrong. It is alive, magnetic and absorbs all light. It is magical and so is The Light.
In this seasonal newsletter, I will go a bit deeper into this collective change awakening and the influence of light in the dark and bring some suggestions for navigating through - creatively. I will review my year, to catch up those of you who haven't heard from me and let you know of some new services I am providing in 2010. In the spirit of giving and gratitude, I also offer a Holiday Special to support your journey of unfolding. (See below)
It has been a year of change for many, including myself. I am now emerging and in the discovery process of who I am becoming. I notice this is a theme for many. It is easy to pass judgment on self or other when one is embarking on the unknown. Instead, I invite you to look at whatever place you find yourself in this time of year, as an opportunity of light. Lightening your load, lightening up, lighting the fires of your desires, living your light. And remember the dark can be the fertile soil and nourishment that provides impetus for growth. Embrace the change, know you are supported and look for the opportunities that light...and even darkness, brings.

Collective Change -
" Sometimes you're the statue and sometimes you are the bird."
What is up? Yes, a system is dying. The old guard is crumbling and has been for some time. Ho-hum, yawn. Old news now, or is it? The question is do you need to crumble too? Perhaps... and that is OK. A lot can be gained from things falling apart.
There is also a tremendous opportunity now to be like the cream rising to the top. It takes a lightening of the load, even of your thinking. We are in a collective dimensional shift. Yes, that is what is going on. We are moving from a 3D oriented reality to a 4D oriented reality. What does that mean? It means that time and space as we know it is shifting and there is tremendous potential to design (cause) any number of possible realities for every one of us, individually and together.
Yet, if we are buying into the childhood story of " Chicken Little " and the syndrome of misinterpretation of gravitational pulls and ' the sky is falling,' then we are at the influence (effect) of recession, downturn in marketplace, real estate fiascoes, hell fire and damnation. Sorry, that is not my reality. I see too much beauty in this evolution and I trust implicitly the unfolding of a Divine plan. And, we are the Divine incarnate.
I remember a quote from a channeled source of E.T.'s that said, " you would not create a reality with no way out, sometimes that knowing will have to be what brings you peace." I believe that and have been there many times.
2012 and the Mayan calendar can be summarized in the theory that " It is the end of time as we know it. " What that means, is that we are shifting into a 4D reality - if we choose. Does this mean the changes will be easier? No guarantees. It depends on what you decide about your version of reality. Does it mean we might have more choices? Yes, probably. I know for me, I am morphing in and out of 3D/4D. Some days, I am the statue and some times I am the bird. And this is not about the subject of ( excuse my vulgarity) crap. But it is part of the experience. It certainly makes for good fertilizer for new growth.
And, just because you are flying, doesn't mean you have to hit the statue or state of a stuck reality on your freedom flight. And, sometimes it just appears to happen that way. Really amazing time we all chose to be here for. It is absolutely a unique time to be alive and on the leading edge of creating. Be gentle on yourselves and each other. We are navigating through unknown territory. It is necessary to be dancing with The Mystery on the journey of learning about our co-creative abilities. Aim to enjoy the journey and the season of change.

Leading Edge Creating -
 10 progressive things you can do to improve your life:
1) Be only available for the reality you choose to experience.
2) Find things to be joyful about and if you can't be joyful, find what you appreciate and you will be on your way to joy.
3) If it ain't working, accept it, change it or leave it and trust you will create something better... and do.
4) Recreate yourself. Ask, " who do I choose to become? " Then take actions to make it so.
5) Do things you feel good about.
6) Be around people, situations and environments that stimulate you positively.
7) Aim to be in "complementary" relationships. It is a healthier and more enjoyable state of being with someone, than "compromise."
8) Monitor the quality of your thoughts. Your mind is your ally or your enemy, depending on what thoughts you are thinking.
9) Work out your relationship with money!! Is it healthy or do you need to ditch your current beliefs and habits for some new ones? This is a collective issue too and each person who finds new states of prosperity during these times, adds to shifting the global belief system from surviving to thriving.( I am very passionate about assisting people through this place and am offering more skill sets to be abundant in a changing economic climate. Stay tuned!)
10) Allow support into your life. You do not need to do this journey ALONE. A wise person knows when to seek counsel.
