Midori Market Boasts A Bright and Welcoming Convenience Food Store Solution: London Fixture by Foresight Lighting.
Midori Market, a one-year old grocery and food service chain, had the ideal site when they decided to expand operations and open a new location in the growing village known as Notre-dame des Champs, west of Navan, Ontario, Canada. The L-shaped building provided the space Midori needed to house their grocery, convenience and food service operation. However, the interior needed a make-over and relatively low ceilings, only 9-1/2 ft (2.90m), offered a real challenge. "My goal was to create an open, bright and welcoming space. I wanted to flood the store with light and make the ceilings feel higher than they are," stated Edward Sawaya, founder and co-owner of Midori Market.
The London fixture, in a 2x2 configuration, with (4) F24T5 high output lamps, punches out up to 6600 lumens. At the same time offering great glare control using a deep parabolic louver.

Marché Midori, une chaîne de magasin d'alimentation qui a à peine un an, avait trouvé le site idéal lorsqu'ils ont décidé d'ouvrir une nouvelle succursale dans le village en plein essor de Notre-Dame des Champs à l'ouest de Navan. L'édifice en forme de «L» fournissait l'espace dont Midori avait besoin pour héberger le marché d'alimentation, le dépanneur et le service de prêt-a-servir. Cependant, l'intérieur avait besoin d'un changement radical et les plafonds d'à peine 2.90 m (9 ½ pi) étaient un grand défi. «Mon but était de créer un espace ouvert, lumineux et accueillant. Je voulais inonder l'endroit de lumière et que les plafonds paraissent plus hauts», déclare Edward Sawaya, propriétaire de Marché Midori.
Le luminaire «London» en configuration 2x2, avec 4 lampes F24T5 à haute luminosité fournit jusqu'à 6600 lumens. Il offre aussi un contrôle des reflets par son déflecteur parabolique profond.
