Hello

Happy Mothers Day!
It's been a while since we've written to you; Spring is in full bloom, and a lot has been happening on the farm!
We've introduced 3 new individual products with a whole line of new products arriving next month. If you haven't been to our website lately, you'll notice some new features like our homepage slideshow, our brand new testimonials page, the Passport to the Poconos Discount Program, Product Reviews, and our Quantity Discounts Feature. Check out our Show Schedule. If you live close, we'd love to meet you in person at one of our many shows this season. Finally, we've included a special coupon for you, but it is time-limited, so be sure to order before it expires. Until next time, we truly appreciate your business. As a small family entity, we work very hard to bring you some great eats & treats at reasonable prices and good old fashioned customer service.
Best regards, Jim & John Owners MoonShadows Farm |
New Products - Available Now & Coming Soon
We have introduced some new products including two new hot jams: Cherry-Jalapeno and Peach-Habanero.
We've taken our homemade cherry jam and spiced it up a bit with fresh jalapeno peppers, sweet but not fiery hot. Our homemade cherry-jalapeno jam creates a taste sensation with a hearty snap! Serve it over a block of cream cheese with crackers on the side or use it as a delicious glaze or condiment for poultry or fish.
Our Peach-Habanero Jam combines the sweetness of summer-ripe peaches with the zest of habanero peppers. We used just the right amount of habaneros to create a tingling, warm sensation for your taste buds. Like our other hot jams, it is great with some cream cheese on a cracker or as a glaze on your favorite meat. We even have customers that warm it up and serve it over ice cream.
For all you hot jam fans these two new hot jams are right up your alley, and a great addition to our Hot Pepper and Raspberry-Jalapeno Jam.
To complement our Courtland Applesauce, we are now offering Ozark Gold Applesauce. The Ozark Gold Apple has a smooth, attractive and often blush finish. It is an early yellow apple, ripening in late August. It has a soft, mildly sweet, slightly tart and juicy flesh which makes it perfect for a great applesauce.
And, coming in June, we'll have a great selection of Salad Dressings. We've already sampled these to a few local customers, and the feedback tells us we have a hit on our hands. Our initial 4 flavors will include: Vadalia Onion & Peppercorn, Vadalia Onion & Poppyseed, Creamy French, and our special "Farm House Favorite". We anticipate adding more during the year. |
