Phase III of the Garden Club's Beautification Project
 | In the garden with Antoinette Berthelotte and Mike Feyder |
Promoting the use of drought resistant California native plants and educating the Idyllwild community about the selection, care and use of native plants are just two of the goals of this three year project undertaken by the Idyllwild Garden Club on the Historical Society Museum site. Here, Antoinette Berthelotte explains, with great enthusiasm we might add, the cooperative project to ICF Advisory Board members. |

Speaking of history......
 | | Making history easy to find. |
Want to know who did what, when and who lived where and with whom? Lots of what, where, and when answers may solve the mysteries of our treasured mountain home.
This project by the Idyllwild Area Historical Society will place years of history on line and accessible to everyone. Our history makes us relevant and enriches our journey. The goal is to make all back issues of the Town Crier, 1946 to present, available on line in a format that allows rapid keyword searching. Bob Smith gave us an impressive and informative description of the process and its value to researchers and everyday citizens. |

ISIS goes green.
 | | Suzanne Avalon and Howard Shangraw |
Isis Theatre Company is asking to update their antiquated and inefficient lighting system. The requested LED technology produces very low heat, has an exceptionally long life and low power consumption.
Known for their willingness to share stage equipment with other non profit groups, and their commitment to creating enjoyable theatre experiences for Idyllwild residents and visitors, Isis Theatre Company members are thinking about the future and a sustainable environment. |
