SAI Associate Director Meena Hewett in India
SAI Associate Director Meena Hewett met with several students while traveling in India this week, including this group of Harvard Law School students in Mumbai.
Part of a group organized primarily by HLS's Program on the Legal Profession, these students (12 in total) are completing internships at Indian law firms while they are each in their second or third year of the JD program. Discussion centered on how internships with law firms in India give Harvard students an unprecedented look into the lives of lawyers and workings of firms in India, due to India's strict no solicitation laws.
