Summer 2012 Internship Spotlight: Hajvery University, Pakistan Hajvery University (HU) is amongst the oldest private sector universities of Pakistan. It is an interdisciplinary university with 6 faculties offering 23+ degree programs and serving 4500+ male and female students from across Pakistan and other continents. Beyond the classroom, HU offers a vibrant, multicultural student life that enriches the university experience. HU is partnered with 25+ universitie  s across the globe to provide exchange opportunities for students. Hajvery University has three internship openings, one each in the Office of Student Recruitment & PR, the Office of Administration Executive Intern, and the Office of Innovation & IT. *Internships in Pakistan are open to undergraduate students with Pakistani citizenship and all Harvard graduate students.

Friends of Women's World Banking (FWWB) - India is a non-profit organization established in 1982 and provides financial, institutional and capacity building services to partner organizations promoting livelihoods and self-reliance of poor women.They are looking for a Research Fellow who would be involved in research and documentation activities under Empowerment Group. This will involve conducting research on aspects like women leadership and financial literacy and develop training module for women members of the community based partner organizations of FWWB, among other duties.

SAI has received great exhibits on work being done on South Asia on education, and we're excited to see more! Submit by January 18 for a chance to be included in the exhibit and on the Symposium website.
Submissions should include at least one image showcasing your organization's work, an abstract of the work being done, and details either in a graph or other format highlighting the success and or reach of your organization.

Memorial Graduate Travel and Research Fellowship
- Harvard graduate students are invited to apply for this summer grant which supports research and field-work in Pakistan related to the study of Islamic law, philosophy, religion and/or culture.
