Weather and Pasture Management  Most of us have seen a bit of rain, and while this has been a blessing, it is not enough to help with this severe drought. It's time to focus on how to economically provide for our animals and efficiently feed them.
Consider alfalfa hay, it has more weight per bale and higher quantity of nutrients. Also consider using protein supplements. Watch out for products that cause the cattle to eat more hay; instead look for products that have a 12% fiber content or higher.
