HAZLEHURST LAMON DINNER AND FALL-FLY-IN - A SMASHING SUCCESS
If you did not make it to the Award Dinner and/or Fly-In you missed quite an event. It was the highest rated program we have had since anyone can remember - the rating system was 1 is low and 5 is the highest. Every speaker got a 4 or 5.
Just a couple of the comments:
- Plan Sponsor on closing session - "loved this session - makes me energized and inspired to bring the same level of the strategic benefits-work and change in my company and/or elsewhere"
- Consultant - "More, More More!!!"
- Attorney on Ethics for Fiduciaries - "Great Session!! Good chemistry between presenters - good dialogue"
- Consultant - "I've been to a number of conferences, and this was flawless, scoring 5's in every category"
- Anonymous on Claims Payment Session - "Excellent - helped VP's understand how carriers quote discounts and what this means
We could go on and on with the comments but space does not permit. The event was indeed a smashing success!!!
Congratulations to Melinda Burnham, National Benefits Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tampa for winning the $500 grand prize drawing.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE SEBC
We have new officers and new Steering Committee members. We have new Committee Chairs. Welcome new Steering Committee Members - Jim Hill, Keith Wagner, and James Worrell. New Committee Chairs:
Bransford Fund - Keith Wagner
Communications - Melinda Burnham
Fundraising - David Lyons
Membership - Christina Broxterman
Program - Fred Stewart
Website - Bert Carmody
Check out the column on the left for all the new leadership. Not on a committee - get involved and just let Anne McKillips know you would like to get involved. Being on Committees is a way to get to know others in the organization and is the foundation upon which the SEBC was founded.
Through the past decades, the Conference has promoted such understanding and substantial goodwill among the various disciplines by having them work together in a spirit of cooperation on various committees planning the "Fly-In" meetings and annual educational conferences and supporting the many other functions involved in making the SEBC what it is today.
As we enter our 43rd year, we continue to build on this philosophy.
