WFUSB's partnership with SAP focuses on long-term, sustainable progress in the CNO members' academic achievement, financial, academic and advisory support
 

The Wake Forest University Schools of Business (WFUSB) and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) Scholarship Advisement Program (SAP) - are joining forces to help Native Americans earn an advanced business degree through the Wake Forest University Master of Arts in Management

The Wake Forest University Schools of Business(WFUSB) and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO)Scholarship Advisement Program(SAP) - are joining forces to help Native Americans earn an advanced business degree through the Wake Forest University Master of Arts in Management (MA) program, offered by the Schools of Business.

 

Beginning in 2011, the partnership between the two entities focuses on long-term, sustainable progress in the CNO members' academic achievement, financial, academic and advisory support. WFUSB and CNO-SAP will work together to promote the retention and graduation of Choctaw students toward an advanced degree through Wake Forest University Master of Arts in Management program.

What is the American Indian Graduate Center?

The American Indian Graduate Center is an organization focused on helping Native American students not only see and strive for their potential, but also be able to reach this potential. This is accomplished through guidance, knowledge sharing, and student funding opportunities that enable Native Americans to chase their dreams-through higher education and beyond.

Creighton University School Of Dentistry Offers 6 Native American Students The Chance To Study On Campus For Four Weeks This Summer

Every summer, the Pre-Dental Summer Enrichment Program for Native American Students brings six Native American students to the Creighton University

Chance To Study On Campus For Four Weeks This Summer

campus for four weeks of classroom and lab learning. During this time, you will not only have the opportunity to learn in a classroom with professors from the Creighton University School of Dentistry, but you will also be able to perform research, enjoy clinical observations, and even participate in mock interviews for admission to dental school. Students get to live in the dorms on the Creighton University campus, with meals and transportation provided. Students also get time for fun, with opportunities to visit such famous Omaha attractions as the Henry Doorly Zoo and the Old Market. June in Omaha also means the College World Series, and students will have an opportunity to experience the excitement of the annual tournament of college baseball's best teams.

Young Native Writers Essay Contest

Deadline to submit essays is April 1, 2011

 

The Young Native Writers Essay Contest is a writing contest for Native American high school students and is designed to encourage young Native Americans to think about the critical issues impacting their tribal communities today. 

The voices that emerge from this program honor the legacy of every Native American who has ever lived. Add your words to the thousands submitted through this project - all writers receive a Certificate of Honor for their submissions.

The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation's goal of promoting education and creating new opportunities for youth has inspired this essay contest. Partnering with Holland & Knight in this endeavor is the National Museum of the American Indian.courses.
