Graduate School Emphasis Grows at 2010 Ivy League & Friends

| In a recent survey conducted by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) Scholarship Advisement Program (SAP), 40 percent of SAP members expressed an interest in graduate school. That's an optimistic trend, according to SAP staff whose message to its members is to constantly "reach higher." Students like those in SAP are being accepted, awarded funding, and succeeding in some of the nation's top graduate schools, according to SAP.
The value of a graduate degree is one reason why the Scholarship Advisement Program has increased its emphasis on graduate school recruiting at this year's Ivy League and Friends. More than 20 of the nation's top higher education institutions are attending this year's Ivy League and Friends and the 2010 list of attendees also includes many of the nation's best graduate schools and programs.

In the past decade, the Consortium expanded it service to any American citizen or permanent resident who supported promoting diversity in the workforce.
The Consortium holds a number of recruiting sessions each year at different locations across the country for students to determine whether pursuing an MBA is right for them. Once students join the Consortium, they get access to the CGSM's resources and programs.
