Greetings!

We're highlighting our Urban Garden Event Center this week!

I just have a few minutes for this week's email because we are busy planning my son's wedding in the Urban Garden Event Center right here at the Farmers Market Annex. Huh? What Urban Garden?!? I have been hearing that a lot so I want to be sure and tell you about this hidden gem right in our own backyard.

We have beautifully landscaped gardens complete with soothing water features and paved strolling paths, comfortable seating and canopy tents to offer shade or protection from our MN weather. We also have local catering that uses fresh right-from-the-market ingredients and of course the only DIY Wedding flower program in the state!

Let's see, we've got: Onsite flowers at the best prices in town, local, sustainable food from the growers we see every week, and a friendly staff to help you pull off your event without a hitch. What more could you want? And for people like me who love the Market, it's a wonderful option to have.

Market Flowers is open Thursday and Friday 9am - 3pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm

Stoney Savanna is on board for a great weekend
of easy listening music here at
the Farmers Market Annex.

Playing Music from The Caribbean to the Americas, Stoney Savanna One-Man-Band has performed in the Caribbean, Brazil, Key Largo, Florida, and of course Minnesota. He's even been on Celebrity Cruise ships with the music of Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffet, Santana, Harry Belafonte, Antonio Jobim and many more.

Stoney resides in the Minneapolis area performing for private parties, corporate events, clubs, etc.
