 Kids Day! Join us this Sunday, Sept 25th 9am - 1pm for lots of great FUN! - Jane from Science Outside the Box will be here to do food related experiments with the kids! Jane believes our job as adults is to keep our child-scientists well-nourished, and we they just need to give kids some time to mess around and try things out.
- We'll have a bouncy boxing ring on hand ~ using it as a jumper for the little kids.
- Visit and take your picture with Winnie the Pooh!
- FREE Kids craft tables and activity games, as with all of our events
- A Big Game that involves the Market, and is EASY to do ~ we promise!

Market Flowers has developed a wonderful DIY program to help you save money, but if you need more help than that or just want a good florist, we've got you covered! Diane and her husband Scott (owner of the Farmers Market Annex) have owned and operated flower shops in the Twin Cities area since 1987, and JR has worked with them in the floral industry for over two decades. With their combined experience they think they've got it figured out ~ there are many talented people with an artful eye who just need a place to buy their flowers at reasonable prices and a facility from which to work. We hear again and again that these people find this is truly a labor of love and that lending their creativity to their special day adds another level of meaning.
So give us a try! Market Flowers is open seasonally May through October and we shop the world for the best flowers at the best prices. We strive to ensure that you will be completely satisfied with our large selection and superior quality.

 Toni Wiarda of Toni Beauty by Design has been designing one-of-a-kind pieces of semi-precious gems and sterling silver for 35 years. She has many statement pieces to choose from and has sold pieces to several famous artists including jazz singer Carmen McRae of the Blue Note Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, New York City. Toni resides in Mesa, Arizona, but she comes here to Minneapolis for 3 months every year. She brings a bit of southwestern sunshine with her and we're happy she considers the Annex her summer home.
Amish bread and home baked pies. Yumm. Doesn't that make you hungry just thinking about it? Well, we have a new vendor here (on Saturdays only!) and you'll be mighty glad you stopped by their booth and picked up some of their tasty treats to bring home for yourself. Marvin and Elmina Bontrager bring a variety of goods every week, but here's a sampling of what you may find: Apple, Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Cherry, and Pecan pies, and bread that is white, wheat, garlic dill or cinnamon raisin.
