Brand new this weekend and here only for a short time is Papa Fierro's Pickled Beets. Just like Ma used to make, you'll love these sweet, tasty treats. Also, try his original recipe Basil Pesto. Made with the freshest of ingredients found right here at the Market, it's a new reason to stop by his stand and sample the farm-fresh goodness!

We have an entire season of entertainment lined up for you!
Sonny Ray is back for another session of easy listening music here at the Annex. If you missed him in May, you'll want to be sure and stop by! Sonny has been performing live at clubs and parties from Miami to Minnetonka. His many years of experience performing with bands has enabled him to play all the instruments you hear on his backing tracks.......hence the one man band.

Grown right here in Waverly, MN, Untiedt Vegetable Farms brings you the best sweet corn in the Market! They go the extra mile and it shows. You'll want to bring home a dozen or so for later, but while you're here have them fix you up some roasted corn on the cob ~ all slathered in butter. Go ahead and enjoy! It's ok to be a kid again and just ignore it if it drips down your chin. It's what we do. :o)
This one is a bit tricky because she's only here on Saturdays, but you absolutely have to bring home one of the wonderful pastries offered by Sweets by Sheri. Lemon bars, yam brownies, and apricot bundt cake are what she has to offer. One of these recipes is from mom and the others Sheri has had for years, but all of them get the benefit of her changing them to have that special 'something' that makes them unique and really wow your senses. It's ok! One little bar won't hurt your diet too much, and you can always start again on Sunday when Sheri is home and not here to tempt us again. 
Mean Green Hot Sauce is a new vendor this year and he already has quite a following. He's been making this for 20 years and after hearing again and again that he should be selling it, he finally listened ~ and boy are we glad! Made locally, right here in Minnetonka, this hot sauce is fresh, all natural, and has no preservatives. For people who like hot sauce, it really is an addicting. But in a good way! |
