Music at the Market with the Blue Wolf Blue Grass Band
We have an entire season of entertainment lined up for you!

Blue Wolf Blue Grass Band

Jerry Spanhanks, Shirley Mauch Spanhanks, Nick Larson and Rich Smith are Blue Wolf. The love of bluegrass music brings this pack of musicians together.

Jerry Spanhanks on the guitar and dobro dazzles the audience with his smooth and innovative picking. Shirley Mauch Spanhanks flatpicks the guitar and sings lead and harmony. Nick Larson, bass player and fantastic lead singer, is the backbone and drive behind Blue Wolf. He does a fabulous job of keeping the band in the groove. Rich Smith is a very accomplished banjo player with Blue Wolf.

Blue Wolf's first CD, "Red River Moon" is available and their second CD "Brown Shingle Shack" was released in August of 2005. "Red River Moon" was nominated in the bluegrass/old-time music category at the 2003 Minnesota Music Awards.

The band is available for weddings, festivals, parks and just about any other event where music is needed. Give us a listen and become part of the pack.  See BlueWolfBlueGrass.com for more information.

Vendor Spotlight
Zoes Gone Bananas

Zoanne Hagberg from Zoe's Gone Bananas has definitely got more than your average selection of banana bread.  How about some chippy cherry, skippy chippy, nutty monkey, choco chippy, or funky monkey?  My personal favorite is the  nutty blondie chippy monkey which has white chocolate and macadamia nuts.  Wow.  I'm getting hungry just writing this!

Humble Acres Perennials

Humble Acres Perennials from nearby Hudson, WI, is in the Urban Garden with a wide selection of healthy, hardy plants for your landscape.  Diane is always ready to answer your questions and recommend that 'just right' something to help you get the look you want.  They are a family-owned company that embraces sustainable growing practice and integrated pest management. They do things by hand as much as possible, limit the use of machinery, use minimal heat and try to time their plant growth with mother nature.  Plants the old fashioned way.  Nice.

 Vegetable Grower Stalls

Our Vegetable Growers are the best! Come shop our wide aisles and see the bountiful selection of fresh produce available.  These are all locally grown products and many of them use sustainable, chemical free growing methods.

Here's the best part ~ you can pick up something you may not recognize and then ask the farmer what it is and how they recommend serving it.  (That's me!)  Not all of us grew up on this great food so don't be shy about trying something new, and asking for help!

Papa Fierro will have Traditional and Mango Peach Pico de Gallo This Weekend
Papa Fierro

In addition to his traditional fare, which comes in three degrees of heat and rivals anything you'll try out there, Papa Fierro will have a limited supply of his Mango Peach Pico de Gallo for sale.  If you haven't yet tried it, you're missing out.

So good that you'll want to come back for more, week after week.  Fresh.  Local.  Farmers Market Quality.  Nice!
