| Greetings! |
Peonies are here ~ locally grown and ready for you to bring home right now!
We have many shades of pink and also the much-sought-after, hard to get white peonies. Time is running out and there are only a couple more weeks before they're gone for another year. So stop by this weekend and get yours!
Read about our fun and money saving DIY Wedding Flower program on the Market Flowers website! |
| Vendor Spotlight | Greenware Creations features the rebirth of glass and silverware. These environmentally conscious artists upcycle wine, spirit and beer/soda bottles into functional serving pieces. Their jewelry line is highlighted by glass pendants and beautiful fork bracelets. They offer custom work, perfect for wedding gifts with a personal touch. Special pricing exclusively for Farmer's Market Annex customers ~ stop by to find reasonably priced, kind-to-the-earth goods!
Tenzy has clothing and accessories from India. She travels to India to personally choose the items she sells, and best of all she buys from small, cottage industries ~ groups of people who work together to produce their merchandise. So, buying from Tenzy supports micro-businesses halfway around the world, and who doesn't feel good about that?!?
Stop by to see Scott from I Got Cheese to get an education on what makes really good cheese! He's been in business for over 30 years and he really knows his stuff. These cheeses are from the wonderful cheese makers (many of them masters of their craft) from southwest Wisconsin, using fresh, local milk. The dairymen actually get paid within 7 of when people buy their cheese. Scott works closely with the makers to ensure that the cheeses he brings to our Market are properly aged and at their peak of flavor. Yumm. |
Papa Fierro will have his famous Pico de Gallo this weekend!
| It's that time again. Fresh, locally grown tomatoes are now available so that means our Pico De Gallo production has begun for the year. And don;t forget to grab a jar of Thai spice BBQ sauce. Pair them and you have a nice complement to any grilling you may do.
So good that you'll want to come back for more, week after week. Fresh. Local. Farmers Market Quality. Nice!
