ReproTech would like to thank all of you for reading our FP 101 Eblasts, and especially for helping us promote Fertility Preservation Awareness. Each of our previous FP 101 issues focuses on specific Fertility Preservation topics, i.e. options for men, options for women, children, AYA's, cancer & fertility, etc. Click here to view previous issues of our Fertility Preservation 101 Eblasts, found on our website.
2011 has been a busy year for us. After our next conference in December, ReproTech staff will have attended and/or exhibited at eight conferences related to oncology, two of them specific to Fertility Preservation.
We were excited to have reached two century marks in 2011, recruiting the 100th center in our Fertility Preservation Network, and approving 100 patients for our Verna's Purse Financial Assistance program. In addition to RTL's Verna's Purse program, we have over 100 patient participants in LiveSTRONG's Sharing Hope programs in 2011.
In May, 2011 we launched our Fertility Preservation 101 booklet, a comprehensive guide designed to assist oncology professionals in educating their patients on the importance of fertility preservation discussions, cancer treatment and risks, and fertility preservation options for men, women and children. In September we launched our
free Fertility Preservation app and our mobile website.
Reprotech sponsored staff who participated in several fundraising events in 2011, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure events and other cancer research and survivorship events. In September, our MN site director, Jill Olson, biked in PANCAN's Twin Cities PurpleRide 2011, an event that has raised $290,000 to date for pancreatic cancer research. Joy, our FPN Manager, will be participating in November's PANCAN event, PurpleStride Savannah 2011.
