Sculptors Needed For Exhibit
"Cleveland Rocks" in more ways than one! This spring, join us as we
 | | "Odo" by John Sweeney |
take a modern approach to the ageless art of sculpture. Dating back to pre-historic times, this
3-D art form has evolved over the centuries to include the traditional free-standing pieces and sound, light, kinetic, stacked art and environmental sculptures, just to name a few!
The VAC invites you to an exhibit of traditional "in the round" pieces using conventional and contemporary materials. Whether it's molded, carved, cast, hewed, chiseled, shaped or cut--as long as we can view it "going 'round", the materials used to create the piece can be as modern as plastic or classic as stone.
So if sculpting is your passion, we want to see your work! All artists interested in submitting pieces for consideration should
CLICK HERE for Call To Entry details. The deadline for "Cleveland Rocks" is Friday, March 2.
"Cleveland Rocks" Sculpture Show, opens on Friday, March 30, in our Margaret Bowen Gallery. All our openings are free and open to the public.
