GIFTS GALORE FOR THE VAC
Recently, the VAC has been the fortunate recipient of many "gifts" from the Chagrin Valley area. We would like to thank everyone for their generosity in helping us to continue our dedication to presenting, promoting and teaching visual arts in the Chagrin Valley. These donations have allowed us to offer new classes, expand our resource library, update our website and offer students quality supplies while learning.
THANKS goes to:
CHARLOTTE KAPLAN APONTE & the Estate of DAVID KAPLAN--the Master Etch Printing Press
FLORIAN LAWTON FOUNDATION--watercolor paper and storage unit, library books
PHYLLIS LLOYD Estate--gift for the "Phyllis Lloyd Memorial Award" for the best abstract painting in VAC Annual Juried Show (presented for the next 6 years)
GEORGE ROBY--airbrush tools
CARA STIRN--general art supplies
CLEVELAND GIVECAMP AWARDS GRANT
On Friday, July 29, VAC staff boarded an old boat, aka HornBlowers, in downtown Cleveland to start a weekend blitz of revamping the VAC website. VAC was thrilled to be selected for this annual event that partners technology professionals with non-profit organizations. These professionals offer their services for free to complete projects submitted by each organization.
Be sure to check out our new website -- STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION, so please be patient as we continue to improve our website!
