April 11th Robert Rabbin "The Five Principles of Authentic Living"
I thought I'd have the next 10 or 20 years to speak about my eighth and most recent book - The 5 Principles of Authentic Living: How to Live an Authentic Life in 10 Words - into which I poured the distilled essence of more than 40 years of intensive meditation and self-inquiry. In May 2011, I began what I thought would be years of teaching these 5 Principles to audiences around the world. But on January 6, 2012, I received the entirely unexpected news that I had "stage 4 lung cancer, spread to spinal bones. "Now, I'm not so sure of the timeline of my life and work. Of course, it was always vanity to assume, but I must admit that one's life shifts dramatically when someone looks you in the eyes and say, "You have stage 4 lung cancer. . . " Robert will discuss his progress and the effect on his life and authentic living.
April 18th
Christine Day
"Frequencies of Brilliance"
Christine will recount her first conscious connection with the Pleiadians and how this experience has transformed her life. Christine's role is to act as a Pleiadian Ambassador here on the Earth plane. She will explain the frequencies of brilliance and light initiations which enable us to birth ourselves into these energies. Then we can fully utilize and work with them for our awakening process, returning ourselves to our true spiritual natures. She will also discuss the truth and significance of the crop circle phenomenon.

MARS
| |
Mars lights a fire under our passions, and then propels us like an ignited rocket toward our goals. This is an important energy, since it determines how we pursue what we want to achieve in life. These flashpoints burn a path toward what is possible, if we follow them.
The planet is named for the God of War, but Mars energy only becomes a negative force when it serves the Ego, and not a higher cause. On a social level, it is a primal force that can become destructive when its collective power is harnessed for questionable purposes. Your Mars, or desire drives, can be co-opted and channeled by others. That makes a strong case for understanding your desires, and not allowing them to fall into shadow.
When Mars is "afflicted" or has many conflicts in a birth chart, it can lead to repressing the vital fire within. But not to be denied, a stifled Mars will eventually erupt, and emerge through temper tantrums or just a lowgrade, but constant irritability.
All Mars asks is to be channeled and given an outlet. When your own Mars nature is understood, it's easier to master. It guides you toward making the most of your potential through the use of your own natural assertiveness. |
Gem Stone | |
Bloodstone
Bloodstone (also called heliotrope) is green with distinctive red spots that resemble blood, giving this stone its name. The bloodstone was used to stop bleeding especially nosebleeds. There is a legend that says the bloodstone was formed from the blood of Christ dripping on the green earth and solidifying. It was also called heliotrope by the Greeks and was thought to bring change. The bloodstone has been used as an amulet to protect against the evil eye. Bloodstone is the symbol of justice. The bloodstone is used for circulation of all energy in the body and helps to remove energy blocks. Bloodstone is used in the alignment of all the centers of the body. A healer must do this alignment while the patient lies on his/her stomach. It also aids in the circulation of blood. It is good to have several pieces of Bloodstone in the home to increase the flow of life energy.

The Hub!
by Peter Tongue
I was recently provided with a wonderful gift of traveling to the hub of the Glastonbury zodiac wheel in England, immediately following our Pisces alchemical journey, and before our hub ceremony in Victoria on March 18th. This is the end of our first round of the zodiac wheel and the third year for those members in Glastonbury. In fact our journey began after a similar visit to Glastonbury just one year ago.
Anthony Thorley very kindly hosted me in his home, just outside beautiful Bath, a few miles north of the Glastonbury zodiac. He is a brilliant man and one of the foremost experts in the world on landscape zodiacs. He is currently researching his PhD in the subject. We spent four hours in wonderful discussion and I came to realize that the connection between the alchemical journeys in Glastonbury and Victoria were remarkably similar with incredible similarities in the nature of our workshops and the synchronicities taking place. Check out Anthony's website and take a look at the magnificent Chakra Garden that his partner Celia Gunn has created on their beautiful property. www.earthskywalk.com
Anthony had arranged for two other members of the Glastonbury team to meet us for our pilgrimage into the hub of the wheel the following morning. Yuri Leitch, who is a fantastic artist, dedicated to the work of Katharine Maltwood, and an expert on the extended ley lines that run through the heart of the zodiac in Parkwood. www.yurileitch.co.uk
Also with us was John Wadsworth who is the Glastonbury Zodiac astrologer, known worldwide for his insights, and is a beautiful warm-hearted man. www.kairosastrology.co.uk
Their work on the Glastonbury zodiac can be found at www.thealchemicaljourney.co.uk
What a gift for me to spend time with these so talented men of great integrity. When we arrived at the hub, they noted that something was different. After passing through the gates to the farmer's fields around Parkwood, they were aghast to realize that in the fields around the woodland had been installed thousands of solar panels on the landscape. Yuri exclaimed, "My God! They are concentrating the rays of the sun in the centre of our zodiac-amazing! He was right! What an incredible decision. Who makes these decisions?
We entered into Parkwood and made our way through the undergrowth, eventually emerging at a really simple and energetically fired up medicine wheel. I noticed that the three locals moved to stand on the larger stones marking the Cardinal directions-one in each position. The North was left open and so I quietly made my way there. As I arrived it felt as though an energy locked in and we were ready. What were we going to do I wondered. What followed was a really simple, flowing, easy discussion about Katharine Maltwood, ley lines, landscape zodiacs, astrology and life. It was great! I largely remained quiet and soaked it all in. I had taken with me a rock from our hub in Camrose Park, a piece of emerald which connects into the heart of the zodiac and a stone from Zia's medicine bundle. I buried the stones at the base of the nearby Guardian tree and collected three stones from within the Parkwood enclosure to bring back with me. The entire experience was magical and gave me lots of reassurance and validation that we are perfectly on track with the work that we are doing in our own zodiac.
I returned from this journey full of vibrant energy in the anticipation of the visit to our own hub on March 18th. We chose this date because it was the closest Sunday to the equinox but it had far more wide reaching significance, as demonstrated in the new TV series, Touch. I strongly recommend watching the show which is on global at 9 PM on Thursdays. It is about an autistic boy who cannot be touched and doesn't speak, but communicates with people who need to connect with each other. He does so through number patterns. In the preview show aired a few weeks ago, the number that he obsessed over was "318". His father, played by Kiefer Sutherland, eventually realizes that this sequence relates to 3:18 PM on 3/18 or March 18-our hub day!
We had a wonderful turnout of thirty-six people joining in for the day. We met at the intersection of three roads which created a five pointed star; Camrose, Crown and Salsbury Way. This five-pointed star reminds us that when we walk the landscape, we are actually walking the stars in the heavens under our feet on our sacred pilgrimage. Cam-rose means the Rose at the heart of the zodiac disk, spinning around the polar axis like a cam-shaft. Crown reminds us we are untangling the Crown of Thorns of the material world and setting ourselves free through the Crown of Initiation. Salsbury Way reminds us that we are walking the ley line grids of the planet as Salisbury in England connects the ley line that runs through Stonehenge to the Michael/Mary line that runs through Glastonbury. This five-pointed star is where our zodiac ley lines intersect at the hub of the wheel.
So our pilgrims head off on a sacred walk through the landscape along Salsbury Way, heading to four locations representing the four elements. We begin at Playfair Park, which represents the fire element and will soon be ablaze with color; red, pink and orange fire blossoms. Here we opened sacred space to the six directions and use the fire energy to ignite the first impulse of our journey through the fire signs of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
Now we head off to Kings Pond on Queensbury at the North end of Cedar Hill golf course and are greeted by hundreds of quacking ducks. This really is a happy place where humans, animals and birds come together as one. This is the stopping point for our water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. The final opportunity to go into deep reflection while gazing into the still water of the pond and eking out the final remnants of dross deeply buried within.
We had a surprise side visit along the way to the "Nut House" on Tracksell Avenue. A unique, incredibly creative house, that has to be seen to be believed, both inside and out. It is like a fairytale fantasy land, and we were honored to have the opportunity to go inside and take a peek where the owner Steve Milroy of Wonderworks has done an absolutely amazing job. www.wonderworksvictoria.com
Now refreshed we returned to our pilgrimage and began our ascent up to the air signs at the top of Summit Park, where remarkably we notice the mural there has been painted by the owner of the "Nut House", where we had just been! He has a brilliant gift! Here we feel the cool fresh breeze on our skin as we tune in to the air elements of mental acuity, balance and freedom through Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
We now take all of the energies gathered during our walk and ground them into the earth at the rocky outcrop of Peacock Park. It is here that the Bald Eagle comes to pay us a close flyby visit. We intentionally ground the energies through the soles of our feet and the earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. We bring all of our resources in service to Mother Earth.
We are slowly but surely spiraling back into the hub of the zodiac at Camrose Park, as we make our way along Crown Crescent. As we arrive the Merlin falcon is hovering over the sacred mound of our hub in the landscape-wings spread wide like Christ on the cross. We have arrived at our final destination!
When scouting for the hub, the Merlin falcon gave Mary Dowds and Zia Cole the confirmation they needed that this was the spot. The original Merlin of the Roundtable in Glastonbury is buried in the hub of the Glastonbury zodiac according to some legends. Here we have our Merlin falcon who resides in a tree in our hub.
This tree then became the focus of our final ceremony. All members of the group linked hands around the tree as Zia placed the final Lemurian seed crystal in the ground, linking in with those buried in each of the twelve sun sign effigy sacred spots, during each of our workshops. This activity integrated and activated all thirteen crystals and their respective sun sign structures. It was a very sacred moment that could be felt pulsing through the group. It also felt as though we were linking in with the other landscape zodiacs across the globe at this powerful moment.
All that was left to do was celebrate a wonderful day at the climax of a magnificent year. Sian and Nancy kindly offered for us to do so, close by at Sian's home where we enjoyed treats, hot drinks and heartfelt discussion.
We will be continuing on our journey by seeking permission to engage in a second round of great adventure and pilgrimage through the landscape by addressing the "Questing Dog" on April 1st! |
Pisces Workshop
Everywhere and Nowhere - Follow Your Bliss!
Pisces has remained a mystery in our landscape and some believe that as Victoria is a Pisces city, born on March 14, that indeed it is everywhere and nowhere. We decided to follow that theme for our Pisces journey in the landscape. We opened sacred space on the top of Mount Tolmie where we celebrated the Phoenix rising in Aquarius. The opportunity was then offered to each of the participants to go off on their own pilgrimage, individually, and simply merge with the landscape in any way that seemed appropriate. Mt. Tolmie has some beautiful trails and power spots and people just let themselves go and become one with Mother Earth. It was wonderful to see members of our group scattered over the hillside; sitting, lying, connecting with trees, birds, rocks, earth and sky in quiet contemplation. One of the key qualities of Pisces is dissolving into the oneness and it really felt as though this was taking place.
Amazingly, everyone reconstituted themselves and appeared at our meeting place just outside the magical Finnerty Gardens at the University of Victoria. We had a free-flowing discussion at Community Living Victoria over lunch with Melanie and Zia giving us insights into Pisces and the landscape, as well as other wonderful creative expressions from the group including poetry, sculpting and personal stories.
Our final crystal burying ceremony was to be different in Pisces. Zia had decided that the crystal in Pisces should be buried at sea! Very early on in the discerning of the zodiac structures, Mary Dowds had identified Hollydene Park as a potential Pisces fish effigy swimming out to sea in the landscape. Traditionally, there are two fish in the landscape joined by a silver cord, one ascending to the heavens and one moving out horizontally through the landscape. We symbolically walked the ascending path to Montague Park, where we connected with the ley line running through the centre before returning to Hollydene Park for the final ceremony.
Thanks to Dawn Stewart, we had an inflatable kayak, to send Zia out on her merry way. Following some gusty winds the day before, we thought it would be wise to keep Zia attached to shore through a rope. Serendipity knocked as Donald Allen, the Rope Doctor, was to join us for the day and was able to bring with him an extremely long and strong umbilical cord of rope. With all of the participants holding space along the shoreline, Zia set off into the sea of all that is-the silence, the stillness. She embraced this energy and became one with it, before releasing the crystal into the ocean. She then felt a
"tug" back to this reality as we began to
gently haul her back in. This sensation is a key part of this ceremony. The shadow side of Pisces is getting lost in the fog, mist and confusion of merging with the oneness. It is the zodiac itself that acts as the anchor, the guidepost back to this reality. It was the gathered group of pilgrims on the shoreline who brought Zia safely back to this realm, with all of the gifts that had been experienced intact. This is the ultimate lesson of Pisces. To merge into the oneness, to experience bliss, peace and harmony and then bring it back into our physical world, so that we can co-create heaven on earth.
Having completed the first round of the zodiac wheel, anchored and activated the energies at the hub, and requested permission from the questing dog, we are now ready to start our second incarnation in Aries on April 15th.

Sky WatchMonthly Constellation Saturn's Rings on Display
Glorious Saturn reaches opposition on April 15th against the background stars of Virgo. At opposition to the sun, the ringed planet rises at sunset and appears highest in the south shortly after midnight. It clearly outshines nearby Spica, the brightest star in the Virgo constellation. The broad rings of Saturn reflect more sunlight in our direction than the planet's disc and can be viewed easily through a telescope.
On April 3rd, the moon passes just south of Mars and then makes a similar pass just south of Saturn four days later. On April 18th, Mercury is at its greatest western elongation and the moon passes just north of it. Look out for the Lyrid meteor shower on April 22nd as the moon passes just north of Jupiter. The moon passes south of Venus on April 24th and then Venus is at its greatest brilliancy on April 30th.

Astrological Signs Aries
Aries is a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars and has the symbol of the Ram. It is the first and most elemental of the twelve signs of the zodiac, representing the beginning of all things. As the first sign, it is primal in nature and resists analysis or attempts to explain it. Aries repesents the ego and the will in their purest from. The ram is fiery, prodigious and dynamic. It wishes to exist for its own sake-it simply is!
Aries people tend to be spontaneous, frank and open, but also self-centred and willful. The urge to be the star and to shine is strong in them, but equally so the impulse to explore. Aries often display a strong desire to lead, but may lack the necessary administrative skills to follow through with success. At their best, Aries can be truly original and idealistic pioneers, but at their worst only novelty seeking, unfeeling egotists. |
