2010 Winter Olympics Come to a Close

As I write this Newsletter, the Winter Olympics is coming to a close after two weeks of the expected drama, tension, controversy and amazing examples of human performance. Overall it has been an incredibly uplifting experience with many heart opening and heart stopping moments. Thank you so much to all of those amongst you who added your light and love to the occasion.

March 17th is St.Patrick's Day which always conjures up images of "the little people"- Leprechauns and the rich green fertile lands of Ireland. It heralds in the other powerful day which is March 20th, the spring equinox. This day has been revered and celebrated throughout time. It is a still point, when the light and dark are equal before the light takes over removing the darkness of winter. It is the beginning of spring, new life, flowers blossoming, planting real seeds, fertility and seeds of hope.

A powerful symbol of the equinox is El Castillo pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico. It carries the wisdom of mankind. The nine step pyramid was built so perfectly over one thousand years ago by the Mayan architects that on the spring and fall equinox the sun casts its rays as a shadow silhouette along the edge of the steps forming seven triangles which resemble the body of a serpent slithering down the steps until it joins the huge serpents head carved in stone at the bottom of the stairway. This feathered serpent represents the return of Kukulcan (God) to the Earth to awaken and enliven Mother Earth in preparation for the growing energy of spring and summer. This sacred day is critically important to the success of the subsequent crop to be harvested at the fall equinox. This year the occasion is being used to step up the vibration of planet Earth through a portal activation at a number of sites across the planet to magnify the crystalline energy transmitted to the Earth via the Platinum ray vibration. This will mark the birth of an enlightened age on Earth as we move toward true peace and Global illumination. Take time to connect in silence and stillness with nature and the planet in any way you see fit on this magical day.
