Welcome to inSIGHTS with Peter Tongue
I plan to give you updates on what is happening in the World of Spirit each
month as well as brief introductions into articles that I have found useful with references to the full article for those who
would like to pursue that topic further.

Winter Olympics Provides an Opportunity for Global Coherence
by Peter TongueThe 21st Winter Olympics takes place Feb 12th through the 28th, 2010, at different venues in the Vancouver area as well as the Whistler/Blackcomb mountains.
Unusually warm conditions have caused some concerns over snow conditions at some of these venues. It is also extremely rare to have the Winter Olympics take place at sea level and so it will be interesting to see how this affects performances and the impact on Olympic records.
The torch relay began where the games originated in Olympia, Greece, and travelled over the North Pole into the Canadian high Arctic, eventually arriving in the capital of British Columbia, Victoria, on the west coast. The torch then went on a 45,000km (30,000 mile) journey across Canada and back pausing in thousands of towns and communities lighting the way.
The original games took place in Olympia, Greece in 776 BC. The intention was to unify national, spiritual and racial beliefs and today it is to inspire Unity and Peace among the Nations of the World.
The games always create drama, tension, controversy and amazing examples of human beings going beyond known physical, mental, emotional and spiritual limits.
The focus of millions of people around the Globe on one particular location, beautiful British Columbia, and a series of events highlighting human excellence, also provides the opportunity for the observers to contribute an out pouring of loving support to their country men and women as well as all of the participants. It is a time to acknowledge the athletic prowess and the grace and beauty of humankind.
I invite you to watch the games and embrace the event with a Golden Glow as a bringer of light adding your energy to co-create the greatest possibilities for the greater good of all.
Celebrate the Excellence and assist in emulating the point of the games, which is to bring Peace and Unity to our sacred planet.

Monthly Constellation Taurus
The
constellation Taurus can be spotted to the upper right of Orion, glaring back
at him through the bloodshot eye of the bull-the orange-red star Aldebaran.
Taurus is connected to Royalty and Divine Power and the star Aldebaran aligns
with this Divinity as the Diamond or "Third Eye".
On
February 16th, just after sunset, very low in the south-west sky, look for
Jupiter in close conjunction with the brighter Venus which rules over the
constellation of Taurus.
