Third Annual Ethical Leadership Conference

IEL Rutgers

Rutgers Institute for Ethical Leadership hosts its Third Annual Ethical Leadership Conference, Higher Education Governance and Executive Leadership - Building Ethical Organization Cultures & Response Readiness, at Rutgers University -  Newark Campus on May 3 & 4, 2012.  Featured keynote speakers are Anthony Marx, current New York Public Library President and former Amherst College President; Michelle Lee, President, Northeast Region, Wells Fargo Bank; and Ralph Izzo, Chairman, President and CEO of PSEG and Chair of Rutgers Board of Governors.

Each year the Institute hosts a conference to address ethical issues within the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors.  This year's focus is on higher education governance and leadership and the importance of building an ethical organization culture within the university.  Business leaders will also be in attendance to discuss and review business's role in assisting higher education in its focus on ethical leadership.

The conference is divided into two days.  Day one is dedicated to higher education; attendees will be University Presidents, Chancellors, Trustees, Deans and other senior administrative officers along with some business executives.  Day two will bring business leaders, with some representation from nonprofit and government entities, to discuss needs for increased ethical behavior in graduates and explore how the business sector can better support higher education. For details on speakers, panelists and general conference information visit the event's website
