Estes Valley Partners for Commerce presents two Social Media Business classes for both members and non-members.
 

Presented by social media consultant Adam Shake, this two-part course will take place over two evenings, on Monday and Tuesday, June 19 and 20, from 5:15 to 6:15 each evening. They will be held upstairs at Ed's Cantina both evenings, covering the following:

Day One:

• What Social Media is, and why it's important to businesses in today's world.
• Why Social Media is especially important in a Summer / Winter season destination like Estes Park.
• Facebook, Twitter overview. Who to follow, like, tweet and engage with based on your business model and why. Who are your influencers / competition
• How to transition to Facebook Pages or Places from Timeline. How to use Hootsuite and create streams to capture information and conversations

Day Two:
Question and answer based on previous session

• Discussion of the "Trifecta" philosophy and other channels.
• The importance of voice / who should be doing my social media
• Sharing, retweeting, hashtags, twitter chats
• How to automate your social media / scheduling / reacting
• Question and answer
