Social Media Education:
Estes Valley Partners for Commerce presents two Social Media Business classes for both members and non-members.
Presented by social media consultant Adam Shake, this two-part course will take place over two evenings, on Monday and Tuesday, June 19 and 20, from 5:15 to 6:15 each evening. They will be held upstairs at Ed's Cantina both evenings, covering the following:
Day One:
- What Social Media is, and why it's important to businesses in today's world.
- Why Social Media is especially important in a Summer / Winter season destination like Estes Park.
- Facebook, Twitter overview. Who to follow, like, tweet and engage with based on your business model and why. Who are your influencers / competition
- How to transition to Facebook Pages or Places from Timeline. How to use Hootsuite and create streams to capture information and conversations
Day Two: Question and answer based on previous session
- Discussion of the "Trifecta" philosophy and other channels.
- The importance of voice / who should be doing my social media
- Sharing, retweeting, hashtags, twitter chats
- How to automate your social media / scheduling / reacting
- Question and answer
