Please READ and PLEASE be involved as much as you can if you are able!  The success of this event depends on all of us participating.  In order to properly execute this event in just a couple short weeks, there are many items and services the Festival is in need of.  Thank you to those that have been involved thus far.

We are still looking for CHILI COOKS (individuals or organizations/non-profits) for the Sunday Chili Cook-off.  The chili registration form is att'd.   This is a great opportunity to market your business or cause.  Teams receive free admission to the Festival (up to 4 ppl.)   If interested, please contact, Candice at SnowyPeaksWinery@att.net

We need GIFT DONATIONS please.  A wide variety of gift donations are still needed.  Gifts will be distributed to the scavenger hunt winners (There are 4 scavenger hunts this year, one hunt for ea. day, Friday - Monday) and the chili cook-off winners.   Any business that is listed on the scavenger hunt, should be donating a prize for each day they are listed.  (If you are on all four scavenger hunts, you should be donating four prizes).   Gift donations must be prizes, not a coupon or a discount.  Gift certificates are strongly recommended, as this will ensure they will have to visit your store to redeem their prize.  Allow a 1 year redemption/ expiration please.  

If you donate just 10% of your available room inventory in January times 2 nights (for out of town Festival participants/workers during the Festival), you can be listed for free on the Lodging Specials page of the Official Winter Festival Website,

The seven lodging companies that are currently listed have already been getting numerous reservations for the Festival weekend.  Don't miss out on this. 

• If you are not open Jan. 2011, please consider offering a free lodging prize donation  that can be redeemed within a year's time.

If your restaurant donates either:

6 breakfasts at $17 each OR 6 lunches at $17 each OR 4 dinners at $25 each (GRATUITY not included), then you will receive a free link and listing on the restaurant specials page of the Winter Festival website.   Currently, there is only one restaurant listed.   

VOLUNTEERS are needed for  Saturday and/or Sunday (10 - 2 pm or 2 pm - 6 pm).  A  4 hour (heated tent) shift gets you free wine/beer/chili for both Saturday and Sunday.  

GOODIE BAGS  - To thank the Sunday chili cooks for their contribution and time (they have to cook onsite in the tent), we will be giving each cook a goodie bag.  Bags are being donated by Rustic Mountain Charm.  We need donations of chotchkie items for the bags from local businesses, please.  Promotional items (like things with your logo on them) such as mugs, magnets, gift certificates, coupons, pens, paper pads, key chains, etc. are all typical for goodie bags, --but it can be anything.   We'll need at least 30 of each item (one for each cook).  Please drop off goodies at Snowy Peaks Winery or Estes Park Condos as soon as possible.

Again, we are still in need of many things to guarantee another successful Festival.  Based on last year's turnout and feedback that we are receiving from potential patrons this year, we are preparing for a much bigger Festival!  We have doubled the size of the Bond Park tent!  Be prepared for an awesome turnout and a very busy weekend in Estes Park!  Please help provide a fun, memorable and quality experience for all those involved with the Festival.....Patrons and workers, alike.  'And make sure you take time to enjoy your own homegrown playground this MLK weekend!
