The Loveland SBDC follows the same schedule that our host, Front Range Community College, does. We will be closed from Christmas to January 3nd - returning on Tuesday, January 4th.

A hands-on class to help you plan and understand the cash flow and cash needs of your business.

You will learn how to determine if there is a market for your product or service, identify your competition and discover trends in your industry.

Entity Selection and Registration Fri., January 7 (8 am to 10 am)
This class will discuss business entity type, selection criteria, along with license and sale tax information to get your business off on a strong foundation. This class is a must for start-up businesses.

Planning for Business Success Wed., January 12 (8 am to 10:30 am)
Learn the key elements of a successful business plan and why creating a business plan is an essential step for any entrepreneur or business owner. This course will guide you in creating your own individual business plan and provide you with the tools to make it easy.

The book, "Successful Business Plan Secrets and Strategies" by Rhonda Abrams, is included with registration.
Hands-on QuickBooks Sat., January 15 (8:30 am to 4:30 pm)
This class covers how to manage your checkbook, handle credit card payments, reconciliation of accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and analyzing your financials by using reports.

Credible brands are utilizing social media to reach customers and to build or maintain reputation. Record Keeping Realities Wed., January 19 (8 am to 9:30 am)
This class, taught by a CPA, will help you learn good record keeping habits to reduce your costs and create efficiency. While record keeping is required by the IRS, good record keeping will help you monitor the progress of your business.

We offered a Creating a Facebook Fan Page in December and the class filled up immediately. If you are interested in attending a future class, please send an email letting us know and we will add you to an interest list and notify you of the next date the class is offered.
Loveland Workshops are held at the Loveland SBDC office, 441 E. 4th Street, Suite 101a, Loveland, CO 80537, unless otherwise noted. Workshops can run longer than specified times, depending on attendee questions throughout the workshop - please allow extra time.
