Thank you to everyone who attended the round table yesterday. I believe the main theme that came out of the discussion is that action needs to be taken to get as many of your businesses up and operating again in 2010. A request was to be made at the town meeting to set a date for a meeting with the town trustees to discuss how we can all work together to get business back up and running. A follow up meeting with the business would be needed to draft a plan and lay out a strategy on how to approach the town for assistance.
A couple of reminders: Please send a copy of your logo and a brief thank you statement to those who donated to the bucket brigade fund to assist with your businesses. You can email these items to board@evp4commerce.com This will be used to place an article in the papers highlighting your businesses. Please have these items to us by the end of the week.
One last item, The Partners for Commerce three part business planning class kicks off tomorrow, Thursday the 14th . The first class will be located upstairs at Ed's Cantina from 5:30 - 7. The first class topic will be "Creating a Dynamic Foundation for Your Business".
