| COFFEE WITH THE HEAD | |
Please join Dr. Shirley for Coffee with the Head this Wednesday, January 19th at 8:00am in the Cafe. Dr. Shirley will be discussing the following:
- What is going on with the digital world? What are the kids doing and what are the adults doing? Flash drives v. textbooks
- What are the events we have for the rest of the year and why are they important?
- What is this school really all about? How does that fit with our plans, your plans, and the on-going plans of the school.
We look forward to seeing you there! |

Lower School Sun Devil of the Week is Sean Halls for being sensitive to others needs and feelings. Thank you Sean for being such a kind young man!
Middle School Sun Devil of the Week is Eddie Monahan for reinforcing the No Bullying Policy. Eddie was nominated by another student for intervening when he witnessed a student getting bullied- well don Eddie!!
Upper School Sun Devil of the Week is Zach Frehse for being a helpful team player. Zack is not only dedicated to his own work but helps his teammates with their academics as well, and recently helped parents learn how to use a pottery wheel. Keep up that great work!
Sun Devil Teacher of the Week is Kathleen Adriaanse for being a team player. Ms. Adriaanse currently has the largest lower school class and recently welcomed a new student into her class. She was eager to welcome the little girl and excited about being able to help. She said, "This is why we became teachers, to help kids." Her calm and endlessly patient demeanor is greatly appreciated.

PSAT results are in!
Please be sure to ask your child for his or her PSAT results. Students have already studied their results with their advisors. Each student has his or her own packet that includes the score report, directions on how to read the results, and the actual test booklet. The College Board offers a video that helps explain how to use the Score Report Plus tool that helps you better understand the results of the test, personalize a study plan, create a college match list, and determine possible career paths.
