FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Dear Parents,
We are thrilled to announce that Patricia Conroy has
accepted the position of Head of Lower School for the coming school year. Ms.
Conroy, soon to be Mrs. Ferris, has been our 4th grade teacher for
the past 3 years. She holds a Masters in Education from New York University and received her BA from Presbyterian College. We are so happy that she will be
staying with the Charleston Collegiate family and look forward to all she will
bring to the position of Head of Lower School. As previously announced, Mrs.
Virginia Reed will take over the position of the 4th grade teacher as the
5th grade becomes part of an Intermediate level of the Middle School next year.
On another note about the Lower School, we would like to dispel the rumors
that we will be combining the 2nd and 3rd grades next
year. The possibility was discussed earlier in the year; however,
2nd and 3rd grades will remain
separate.
Please join us in congratulating Patricia on her new
appointment, and we hope that everyone has a great last month before summer
break.
