What is "The Partnership"? - March 28 Presentation
|
The goal of the Episcopal Partnership for Mission & Outreach (formerly Episcopal Community Services) is to inspire mission and outreach in every diocesan congregation.
We draw our inspiration from the words of Matthew 25:35-37:
I was hungry and you gave me food, thirsty and you gave me something to drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, sick and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.
Deacon Steve Lane, president of our board of directors, will be at St. Matthias', East Aurora, on Wednesday, March 28, to discuss the changing new direction The Partnership has embarked upon and to answer any questions you may have. All members of the diocese are welcome to attend. The event begins with a potluck soup and salad dinner at 6:30 pm, immediately followed by Steve's presentation.

Spring Cleanup Day - March 31
| |
There will be a Spring Cleanup day on Saturday, March 31 at 9 a.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the parish hall, so sign up for a task you can do, and come help us out! This will be our chance to make sure the building and grounds are ready for Easter, so we hope you'll join us. Lunch will be provided.

Lent Craft and Chat - NOW ONGOING!

If you are looking for a Lenten project, but theological reflection isn't your cup of tea, try the Craft and Chat group. Bring your own stitching/knitting/crafting project or we will teach you an easy project to benefit children in the Buffalo community. Come and join us. Thursdays from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the library. We will meet during Lent and then decide what we want to do.

Tornado Relief
| |
Pastor Vicki has been in touch with clergy and churches in the dioceses affected by the recent tornadoes, and has confirmed that what they need most at this time are monetary donations. They are lacking in adequate storage to handle donations of goods, and cash can be quickly utilized by relief organizations to meet various needs as they arise. There are two ways to donate:
- Donations to the American Red Cross can be made by going to this page, and clicking on "Donate Now".
- Donations to Episcopal Relief and Development can by made by going to this page, and clicking on "Donate Now".

St. Paul's on Facebook
| After some discussion, the parish office has decided that a Facebook "page" better suits our purposes than our former group, so we have created one. Just go HERE, and click "like", and you're all set! Anything we post will begin showing up in your news feed.
