Are you interested in being an acolyte? Now is your chance.  We will be having an acolyte training session on Sunday, October 9 after the 10 o'clock service.  We are looking for both youth and adult acolytes.  Youth acolytes need to be nine years old or turning nine before the end of the school year.  Adult acolytes can be any age.  Come one, come all.

Coffee Hour Contest - FALL FOOD - October 23

Coffee Hour contests return with a Fall Food Festival on October 23.  Everyone is invited to bring their favorite fall food to coffee hour - Just bring your food - and a card with the name of your dish and put it on one of the tables in the parish hall.  Everyone is invited to sample any or all of the dishes.  Vote for your favorites with any cash that you have in your wallet or purse.  The winner gets a fabulous prize.  All the money goes to Habitat for Humanity.

Halloween Party - October 30
Halloween ghost clip artWe are having a Halloween party on Sunday October 30th.  It will start with dinner at 4 p.m. - a Halloween appropriate main dish and beverages will be provided.  St. Paul's members are asked to bring side dishes - so that we can host our neighbors (and friends).  At 5 p.m. we will have games for children of all ages and a costume contest.  At 6 p.m. the party will end with trunk or treat - where trunks of cars are decorated and the children go from trunk to trunk collecting treats - please plan on participating by decorating your trunk and bringing some treats to pass out.

We will have flyers at church for you to use to invite your friends and neighbors to come.

If anyone has some of the portable lights for worksites that they would be willing to bring to illuminate trick or treat please let the office know.

St. Paul's on Facebook
Facebook clip artAfter some discussion, the parish office has decided that a Facebook "page"  better suits our purposes than our former group, so we have created one.  Just go HERE, and click "like", and you're all set!  Anything we post will begin showing up in your news feed.
