This Week at St. Paul's
As of this past Sunday, we have now raised $7,600 for Episcopal Community Services, beating our goal by $100.  Thank you to everyone who donated!  If you've been thinking about donating, but haven't had a chance yet, there's still time - see Pastor Vicki or call the office (632-8221) for a form.

Easter Egg Hunt - April 23
easter eggs clip art

We will have an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 23 at 3:30 p.m.  The Easter Egg Hunt is free and open to any child grades 5 and below.  We will have separate sections for younger and older kids.  Bring your friends and neighbors and come along.  Rain location is the Parish Hall.

Easter Vigil - April 23

On Saturday, April 23rd, from 8 pm to 10 pm, you are invited to attend the Easter Vigil and reception at St. Paul's.   Last year the service was held at Calvary Episcopal Church in Williamsville.  This year we will be the host with members from Calvary Episcopal Church in Williamsville attending our service.   A reception in the library will follow the service.  Contributions of snacks for this reception would be appreciated and a sign up sheet will be posted in the parish hall.  If you would like to help with set up or clean up for this event, please see or call Ron Stefanski at 741-9942.

We Need Your Input!

In planning for a vestry planning day in May, we are asking for congregational input.  Please stop in the parish hall during coffee hour and answer the following questions that you will find posted on the wall:

  • What are 3 things that are going well at St. Paul's?
  • What are 3 things that would improve the work of St. Paul's?

Your input is important to us - thanks for your help!

Consecration Weekend
Friday, April 29 - Sunday, May 1 is Consecration weekend, and there are several events going on that you should be aware of.

The ordination & consecration of R. William Franklin as the 11th Bishop of Western New York, will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at the Center for the Arts on UB's North Campus.  Tickets have been distributed.  If you did not request a ticket, you may call the office to be placed on the waiting list for tickets.

The next morning (Sunday, May 1), Bishop Franklin will be visiting us right here at St. Paul's for both of our regular Sunday morning services.

That same afternoon, all are invited to attend the new bishop's installation at the Cathedral downtown, at 4 p.m.  There is no need to pre-register for this event.

The office will be closed on Monday, May 2.
Coffee Hour Contest - May 1
We will hold another Coffee Hour contest, to benefit Habitat for Humanity, on Sunday, May 1 after the 10:00 service.  The theme is decorated Easter eggs.  They don't have to be real or edible, but they do have to be pretty!
Do you have yarn hanging around your house?

yarnWell, bring it to St. Paul's.  The Outreach Committee is collecting yarn for several projects.  There is a bin in the kitchen hallway for your yarn - partial skeins welcome
