This Week at St. Paul's
Due to Thanksgiving tomorrow, we are sending out the newsletter a day early.
The office will be closed tomorrow and Friday.
Advent Multi-Generational Sunday School - THIS SUNDAY!!

November 28 is the first Sunday in Advent - the beginning of the Church year.  We will be having an intergenerational Advent event at 9 a.m. in the Parish hall that Sunday.  We will be making Advent wreathes and doing another project in support of the Sunday School's Advent project.  There will be no Sunday School that day, since it is Thanksgiving weekend.

Deanery Youth Event - December 4
There will be a Deanery Youth event on Saturday, December 4, from 2-4 p.m. at St. Peter's Church in Eggertsville.  We will be planning the Deanery Youth service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  This event is open to all youth in grades 5-12.  We hope to see you there!
Bishop's Visit - December 5
The Bishop will be visiting us on Sunday, December 5.  We will be providing lunch for the Bishop and Carol after the 10 a.m. service.  Sandwich makings and cake will be provided, but please sign up to bring a salad or other side dish.  There is a poster in the parish hall.  Also, since this is the Bishop and Carol's last visit with us, we are collecting funds to present them with a check for the Our Little Roses orphanage in Honduras.  Please mark your check "Bishop Gift."
ECW Christmas Stocking Outreach
The stockings for the ECW's Annual Christmas Outreach Drive are now on the ECW bulletin board.  For those of you unfamiliar with the program, here's how it works:  Pick a stocking off the board and take it with you.  Purchase the item(s) written on the stocking and bring both the unwrapped gift and the stocking back to church.  We will be wrapping the gifts here at church on December 12 and December 19.  Please make sure that all gifts are brought here to church by December 19 at the very latest.  Thank you to everyone for your continued support of this longstanding effort!  If you have questions, see Aimee Jandzinski.

Can You Help?

We are looking for people to be part of planning teams for a couple of events that will be happening in the spring. Each team is looking for 3 or 4 people to work with Pastor Vicki on the events.  They are:  The Episcopal Community Services campaign in March; the Easter Egg Hunt in April; The Carnival in May and a Vacation Bible School this summer.  The sign up sheet is in the parish hall.
