This Week at St. Paul's
Bisons Game - August 8 (Sign-up by this Sunday!)

On Sunday, August 8, St. Paul's will head downtown at 1:00 p.m. to watch the Bisons take on Columbus.  We have 50 seats reserved in Section 112 (first base side) under the overhang - 5 rows of 10 seats each.  The group rate is $8.75 per seat, and the money is due to Ron Stefanski or the church office by August 1.  Ron will pick up the tickets on August 2 or 3, and they will be available for pick-up later that week from Ron, or distributed on the morning of the 8th.  We hope you consider joining us, for what is sure to be a fun game!
Garage Sale - August 14
Garage Sale clip artNow is your chance to sell those items around the house that you no longer use or want.  We are having a garage sale at St. Paul's on Saturday, August 14th.   The event is rain or shine.   Outdoor spaces are available for $10 and indoor spaces for $15.  For further information, please contact the church office or see Ron Stefanski, Bob Scheib or Mark Hout.  Sale policies and registration form can be found HERE.
Summer Favorites
During July and August we are singing hymns that are favorites of parishioners.  For August 1 they are:

Hymn 412 - Earth and All Stars
Chosen by - Sarah Stefanski, because it includes test tubes and snow storms and everything else, and by Dave Crowther, because it's a celebration.
LEVAS 120 - Sweet, Sweet Spirit
Chosen by - Donna Leney, because there is a sweet spirit in St. Paul's.
Hymn 671 - Amazing Grace
Chosen by - Laurie Barney, because it was her grandmother's favorite hymn.
Deanery Picnic - Save the Date!
The Eastern Erie Picnic will be Sunday August 22 - the picnic starts at noon at Stiglmeier Park on Losson Road in Cheektowaga - bring table service and a dish to pass - games and fun will be had by all.

This is a chance to get together with and to get to know Episcopalians from Calvary Church, Williamsville, St. Patrick's, Cheektowaga,
St. Peter's, Eggertsville, All Saints, Amherst, St. Michael and All Angels', Buffalo, St. Aiden's, Alden and Trinity, Lancaster - the churches that along with St. Paul's make up the Eastern Erie Deanery.

It's important that we all spend time getting to know each other - the Deanery provides the opportunity for us to come together to do mission and ministry that none of us can do alone - like sponsoring a refugee family and having bigger youth events.

To get to Stiglmeier Park take Transit Road to Cheektowaga - turn right on Losson Rd.  The park is on Losson Rd between Transit and Union Roads.
