CAMP!
|
The Diocesan Summer Camp program provides youth with a chance to expand their faith, discover their gifts, make new friends and have a good time. There are two camp sessions still accepting sign-ups: Junior High Camp is at the Dunkirk Conference Center for those entering grades 7 - 9. Pastor Vicki is on staff and will take the first three youth from St. Paul's to sign up down with her. The focus is on how we can use our gifts and talents to make changes in our world. The limit is 30 for this camp so sign up quickly. The cost is $330. Junior High Camp is August 8-14. Sleep Away Camp is at the Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center for those entering grades 3 - 6. Deacon Dan is on staff for this camp. This is a safe, nurturing introduction to the camping experience. The cost is $115. Sleep Away Camp is August 18-21. We have had a few donations of scholarship money for camp. Please don't let cost keep you away from camp - see Pastor Vicki if cost is an issue for you.

Bisons Game - August 8
|
On Sunday, August 8, St. Paul's
will head downtown at 1:00 p.m. to watch the Bisons take on Columbus. We
have 50 seats reserved in Section 112 (first base side) under the overhang - 5
rows of 10 seats each. The group rate is $8.75 per seat, and the money is
due to Ron Stefanski or the church office by August 1. Ron will pick up
the tickets on August 2 or 3, and they will be available for pick-up later that
week from Ron, or distributed on the morning of the 8th. We hope you
consider joining us, for what is sure to be a fun game!

Summer Favorites | | During July and August we are singing hymns that are favorites of parishioners. For July 18 they are:
Hymn 405 - All Things Bright & Beautiful Chosen by - Gage Moran, because they sang it in chapel at Holiday House Episcopal Camp when she was a child; Dave Crowther, because it is a joyful, simple song; Sarah Stefanski, because it is a celebration of earth and life around us; and Patricia Macy, because it is a happy hymn she sung many times growing up.
LEVAS 60 - How Great Thou Art Chosen by - Linda Jackson, because it says it all!
Hymn 686 - Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing Chosen by - Beth Ulatowski, because it speaks to her soul; and by Christine Symons
Hymn 618 - Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones Chosen by - Andrea Brown
