On our website...
|
|
| At the bottom of each page, you will now see a link to Amazon.com. If
you click it, and allow it to take you to that site, then St. Paul's
will automatically receive a percentage of whatever you spend on that
visit for referring you. So, if you do a lot (or a little!) of
shopping with Amazon, stop by the St. Paul's site first, and you'll be
helping the church as well! Thanks!

the auction, as well as items that can be used in baskets that we will make up

auction, as it is our major fundraiser for the year. Thank you!

Theology 101
|
An
introduction to theology - literally the study of God - how we approach talking
about God and how God interacts with all of us - this is a 5 week series
beginning on Thursday April 22. The
class will run from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and if you can't join us in person we
will video tape the class and post it to the church's Facebook page and allow
further discussion there.

Focus Groups - April 25
|
Plan to join the April 25th Coffee Hour Focus Groups!
We will spend no more than 1 hour to review our life here at St. Paul's. Our
input will be recorded and then given to the Vestry to use at their planning
and visioning retreat on May 7th and 8th. The
questions to be discussed are:
-
What are 3 things that are going well at St.
Paul's?
-
What are 3 things that would improve your
Christian experience at St. Paul's?
-
Our pledge income only covers about 48% of our
expenses. Much of the remaining income comes from our endowments. What
are your suggestions for how we can increase pledge income by 5% or more in our
next Stewardship campaign?
We NEED your help; we promise to keep it short and fun; and
we will have delicious bagels and cream cheese!!!!! Nursery care and a video for the older kids will be available.

Soul's Desire coming to St. Paul's
|
Soul's Desire, a Christian band from Hamilton, Ontario will provide our worship music during the 10AM service on May 2nd. They ignite worship with an infusion of current worship music and a fresh look at traditional hymns. The four members, all secular professionals, share a passion for worship and a desire to express their faith in song. They will be setting up and rehearsing on Sat afternoon so if you are here for the carnival, stop in and get an advance preview!
