Happening

Happening is a youth weekend for 9th - 12th graders run for youth by youth. The spring weekend is April 16-18th - see Andrea or Pastor Vicki for more information or for an application! The deadline to apply is this coming Saturday (March 13), so let us know right away if you would like to go. The cost is $100 per person, but there are scholarship funds available if you need them - see Pastor Vicki. :-)

Mexico Trip
|
$100 deposit for the Youth Mission Trip to Mexico was due on March 1. If you intend to go, but have not yet paid this, please speak with Andrea ASAP!! Thank you!

Youth Group Time Change on March 14
|
The Youth Group will meet at 2pm on March 14. Please be prompt! We will need this time to prepare the food for the Mexican Fiesta Dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Church School Lenten Project
|
This year's Lenten outreach for our Church School is a food drive to help the Evangelist Church food pantry. The church is located on Maple and Ayer Roads. They do not have much help and the need is so great. Children will bring canned goods and staples every week. At the end of Lent we will deliver the collection to the church.

Youth Lock-In - Maundy Thursday
|
There will be a Youth Lock-In on Thursday, April 1 here at St. Paul's. It will begin right after the Maundy Thursday service at 7:00 p.m., and last until approximately 8:00 a.m. in the morning. If you would like to attend, see Pastor Vicki or Andrea for a permission slip.
Parents: We are still seeking some folks willing to take one of a couple of shifts over the course of the night as the third adult (with Pastor Vicki & Andrea), as well as one or more people willing to come at 7:00 a.m. on Friday morning and help prepare breakfast. If you can do this, please sign up on the poster in the Parish Hall. Thank you!

Easter Egg Hunt
|
The Easter Egg Hunt will be April 3 at 3 p.m. All are welcome - we will have a small children's area (4 and under) and a big kids area (5 and up ). Rain location is the Parish Hall. Come one, come all, and bring your friends!

Diocesan Summer Youth Camps
|
Applications for the Diocesan youth camps are now available!!! There are 3 different sessions available, depending on age/grade level:
- June 27 - July 3 - Senior High Conference, rising 10th graders through 2010 graduates
- August 8 - 14 - Junior High Camp - rising 7th through 9th graders
- August 18 - 21 - Sleep Away Camp - rising 4th through 6th graders
Pastor Vicki will be on the staff of Junior High camp this year, and Liz (our secretary) will be on the staff on Senior High camp. See Pastor Vicki or Andrea for more information or to get an application. Scholarship funds are available to assist anyone who needs help attending camp - see Pastor Vicki. :-)
