This Week at St. Paul's
As of the beginning of the year, the office has new hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 4 pm

Haitian Earthquake information - the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti is a member of Province II, as is the Diocese of Western New York.  As of Wednesday afternoon we have heard that the Episcopal Cathedral, the bishop's house, and a school, convent and college on the cathedral grounds are all destroyed, several other churches are either damaged or destroyed.  There are thousands of people dead and wounded in Haiti.  The best way to help right now is to donate to  Episcopal Relief and Development as other needs become known we will pass that information on
Memorial Service for Al Anscombe

There will be a memorial service for Al Anscombe this Friday (tomorrow) at 10:00 a.m. at the Amigone Funeral Home on Sheridan Drive.  Call the office (632-8221) if you need directions.
LEM/LEV Training

Training for Lay Eucharistic Ministers (those who help with communion during the service) and Lay Eucharistic Visitors (those who take communion to those who can't come to church) will be this Saturday (1/23) at 10 a.m.

There is a particular need for Lay Eucharistic Visitors - we have six people who regularly receive communion in their home/nursing home - we would like to have one visitor for each of them and for each visitor to have one person they visit.

Contact Pastor Vicki for more information or if you are interested but can't attend on Saturday.
Upcoming Youth Events

Sunday January 31
Youth and Parents meeting about the mission trip immediately following the service - youth will have a youth group meeting after the meeting until 1:30 p.m.
2010 Annual Meeting & Vestry Elections

Please join us on Sunday, January 31 for the Annual Meeting & Elections.  The meeting will start at 8:45 a.m., so that parishioners from both services can be more easily included.  There will be an expanded coffee hour between the services with coffee, bagels, and fruit.

The following persons are currently running for Vestry (3-year term): Debbie Bardo, Mark Hout, and Jason Miller.  Nominations from the floor will also be accepted.  We will also be seeking nominations for delegates to Diocesan Convention (which takes place every year in October).

If you are the head of a parish group or committee, please get your annual report to Liz by Sunday, January 24, so that the booklets can be assembled for the following week.  If you are unsure whether you owe a report, please call the office (632-8221), during office hours (9-4).
