| Parish Work Day - Saturday |
|
We have a lot going on this fall - so it's time for some fall cleaning.
We will meet at 9 a.m. to begin to clean, organize and get the church ready for fall.
One big project is going through the church, getting rid of accumulated things we don't need and organizing what's left.
Another is painting the pre-school room, where the paint is peeling fairly badly.
There are lots of small projects as well, please come and help. |

Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. Children will return from Sunday School at the peace and remain with their families for the rest of the service.
All children are welcome, no pre-registration is necessary.
Mona Gaddis is still seeking a few teachers and some substitutes. She can be reached at megaddis@verizon.net |

Fall is the time for football |
And St. Paul's is joining in the fun. We will be going to the UB Bulls game on October 3.

St. Francis of Assisi - October 4 |
| The feast day of St. Francis of Assisi is Sunday October 4. St. Francis was known for kindness to animals and feeding the poor. We will have the chance to do both to celebrate his day.
Blessing of the Animals - is a St. Francis' day tradition. We will bless all animals (live and stuffed) at 3 p.m.
Clarence Walk for Meals on Wheels & Clarence Food Pantry will end at St. Paul's at about 3 p.m. also. It starts at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 1 p.m. If you'd like to walk, get a sponsorship form from Pastor Vicki. If you walk with your dog (and your cat if you can get it to walk on a leash), you can arrive just in time for the animal blessing.
If you'd like to help plan the event or bring food for the walkers and animal owners, please sign up in the parish hall. A planning meeting will be at 9:15 in the library on September 13. |
