Dear GVCCC Members and Friends,
It is my pleasure to thank all of the attendees to both our May 16 breakfast with City Comptroller John Liu as well as our luncheon on May 24 with the leadership of North Shore/LIJ and Rudin Management. The discussions with our guests of the future of small business and the details of the St. Vincent's Medical Center plan were informative to all in attendance and we look forward to continuing to build relationships between our members and these notable figures in New York City. Check out photos from the event on our Facebook page.
Before the holiday weekend begins, we want to take a moment and share with you all information regarding upcoming programing at the Chamber for the next few weeks. Wonder Women, a community partner of the GVCCC, is hosting a Kick-off Pride Event on June 3rd at the Rubin Museum, attendance is free and more information is available here. Also, Community Board 2 will be hosting a meeting to discuss the Rudin/LIJ plan for St. Vincent's on May 31st, 6:30pm.
We encourage members to attend the CB3 meeting to show your support for the plan. If you can not make the meeting, make sure you send an email to our local elected officials in support by visiting our website.
Best,
Tom Gray
