Roasting Plant
The Chamber's new website has a monthly profile of a member.  Chamber Champions will all be highlighted in this new feature, where you can read a quick snapshot of what makes each business special.  For the first profile on the new website, we highlighted a St. Vincent's area business.

The Roasting Plant, is a locally owned, independent, NY based business, and a Chamber member since 2010.  They see themselves as a technology company that happens to sell coffee, and we at the Chamber can attest that their coffee is incredible!

**Mention the profile or the chamber's new website when you order a regular cup of coffee at the Roasting Plant on Greenwich Avenue and get a free upgrade to their SuperCharge coffee!

Unclaimed Funds with the State - Are You or is Your Business Owed Money?

For your protection, banks, insurance companies, utilities, investment companies and many other businesses are required by State law to surrender inactive accounts to the State. These accounts are known as "lost," "abandoned," or "unclaimed" funds.

The Office of the State Comptroller serves as custodian of this money.  If you can prove you are entitled to the money, they will gladly return it to you, at any time, without charge.

In conjunction with the Comptroller's office, the Chamber has identified MANY of our members who have unclaimed funds.  Regardless of whether or not you think you may be owed money, you should check.  Give the Chamber a call at 212.337.5923 and we will show you how to find your unclaimed funds or you can go directly to www.osc.state.ny.us.

For those of you whom we previously contacted, your forms are in!  We will call you this week - what a great way to start the new year!

Holiday Party - In case you missed it...
