Working with your local Community Board is an important part of operating your business. To that end, we have scheduled a mixer with the Board Members of Community Board 2 for June 30th and we hope you will take advantage of this event.

NYC Department of Small Business Services Needs Your Feedback |
The Chamber is partnering with the City of New York to better understand the local retail corridor conditions and challenges that small businesses face. In order to better understand your needs we are conducting a survey intended for small business owners.
We ask that you please click on the link below and complete this survey. Your responses will enable the City to directly learn about the challenges you face while helping us to understand the impact of The City's current programs and policies and inform the development of new programs and policies.

First Annual Better Block Party | Chelsea Welcomes a 'Better Block Party'
The Chamber, in partnership with Whole Foods Market: Chelsea is proud to announce the inaugural 'Better Block Party' , focusing on eco-friendly community living and shopping local! Intended to make green living principles more friendly and accessible for area families, approximately 60 vendors --ranging from organic food and green cleaning supplies to recycled jewelry and eco-clothing -- will participate.
Nearly all of the vendors in attendance are regionally and locally-based, promoting the concept of spending money within your own community to build a better, stronger economy.
The 'Better Block Party' also serves as a forum and business-to-business networking opportunity for exhibitors and up-and-coming companies and designers.
Companies are asked to make a suggested donation based on the size of their organization and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Chelsea-based non-profit groups.
The High School for Art and Design, based on 24th Street, will participate by selling art the students have made from bags donated by Whole Foods Market. All proceeds they make will go toward purchasing art supplies for the school.
