Salvaged Industrial Lights by 'REVO':

Early Revo Light

Here at Skinflint HQ we are slowly building a library of vintage manufacturers' catalogues. We were thrilled to discover an original entry dated 1936, for one of our new additions to the site, a run of very early Salvaged Industrial Lights by 'REVO'

Originally designed for gases or flammable liquids the lights were intended for industrial or outdoor use. The catalogue clearly explains the purpose of the design features, such as the heat dispersing 'fins'. We are happy to include a facsimile of the entry for the lucky owner of these stunning luminaires.

Project Focus: The John Francis Basset
The John Francis Bassett

Skinflint were approached by Absolute Interiors to supply feature fittings for this Grade II Listed building in the heart of Cornwall's mining heritage area. The building is a former market house built in the mid 19th Century which has been sensitively refurbished into a relaxing bar and eatery.

A series of our striking aluminium and glass Factory Pendants were utilised. Suspended in clusters within each window reveal, they illuminate the diners and serve as a functional point of focus when viewed from both inside and from outside through the double height windows.

The lights supplied were salvaged from a paint-works to the east of London and from a defunct factory in the former Czechoslovakia.
