Dear Friends, Sue & Ornament
As our summer days are turning into fall and the joys of summer are becoming just a memory, I want to acknowledge those doctors that are steady in their commitment to do research to find a cure for so many diseases. It is a challenging task and I hope that this summer has been a time of rest and renewal for their mind, heart and soul as well as for each of you.
Because of  your generous support to My Blue Dots, we have been able to continue to support the research of two doctors at Stanford, Dr. Albert Koong and Dr. Ferenc Scheeren.  This month we gave $10,000.00 to Dr. Ferenc Scheeren for his continuing work in stem cell research. Click his name for more information about his work.
Again, I thank you for your support of the work of My Blue Dots.

                    Until Next Time........

      CANCER will be
                           CURED sometime
                                   why
not NOW?

Summertime

Cancer, unfortunately, trickles along

In summer, winter, spring or fall.

I admire the doctors who do research

For curing cancer, for them, is their call.

So to step aside for a moment in time

Enjoying the wonderful gifts of summer,

Swimming, biking, or eating ice cream

Just being with your sister or brother.

Is a balm for the soul, we all know,

For it refreshes the mind each day.

But soon summertime is over and gone

And back in the lab are they.

How grateful we are for these doctors

Who stay steady in their purpose and goal,

For to cure cancer is a daunting task

Requiring persistence and long hours of toil.

So as these summer days are ending

This is my wish for you,

That your summer break has refreshed your mind

And you can return to your research - a new.
