Moving On...

My husband has just been diagnosed with cancer and I have been in a panic not knowing where to turn or what to do. We have been to doctor after doctor and I have been very concerned and upset. I received your book, Moving On...before and after cancer and have read it several times. It  has encouraged me and has given me hope. At some time I will share it with my husband but not at this time. I thank you, Sue, for writing this book. It has spoken to me in a powerful way

Dear Friends,Sue & Ornament

It seems it is not 'if' but 'when' that cancer strikes you or a loved one. I have been made very aware of this in the past several weeks so this month I would like to honor all those loved ones who "Wait in the Wings" while their loved one goes through this challenging time. It is a difficult time for all but the support, love, care and prayers of those family members and friends is so very important. I salute each of you for showing up and being there during this very taxing time.

              Until Next Time........

      CANCER will be
                           CURED sometime
                                   why
not NOW?

Waiting in the Wings

Hats off to those who wait in the wings,

While their loved one goes through cancer.

They are there day after day,

Wishing they did have an answer...

To help, to assist, to calm the fears

Of the one they love so much.

But there is nothing that they can do

So they just show up a bunch.

To just be there, to hold their hand,

To listen to them chatter.

Anything to divert their mind

Just what - it does not matter.

It's a difficult time for all

And there is nothing you can do.

But you must show up and be present,

For that's what gets them through.

To see your loved one filled with fear

And physically so beat up.

Tears you apart on the inside - but -

It's important that you - show up!
