"Brother Sun, Sister Moon, Mother Earth . . ." (The Canticle of the Sun)
To honor the October 4th feast day of St. Francis of Assisi and Francis' love of creation, Deacon Jerry will explore the teaching of Pope Benedict XV on the environment. The presentation will focus on selections from the Pope's 2010 World Day of Peace message as well as his 2009 encyclical, Caritas in Veritate. Please join us to honor Francis' love of creation as we learn to better love and protect all that God has created.
Chili Dinner/Cookie Exchange & Advent Wreath Assembly
Tuesday, November 16th 6:00 p.m. in the Spirit Center
Have a delicious Chili dinner, enjoy homemade Christmas cookies and make an Advent Wreath for your home prayer during the Advent season!
Reservations are necessary and will be limited to 80 households. The cost is $8 for Advent Wreath materials. The chili dinner is $2 per person, maximum $10 per family. Fees will be collected at the door on November 16th. (Scholarships are available.)

You will need to bring:
- Glue Stick and Scissors
- Two dozen Christmas cookies with their recipe in 1 quart plastic bag
- Donation of non-perishable food for Arvada Food Bank
