Dear Loyal Listener,

April is such a wonderful month.  Everything seems to come alive this time of year.  There is such a burst of activity as we prepare for Easter.  Easter means so much to us here at AM1450, in fact we would like to invite you to a very special event, The Sonrise service on Carroll Creek on Easter morning.  This is our third year in a row!  This is such a very special time as we all gather together to watch the sun rise up over Eastern Frederick and to think about that first sunrise on Easter morning.  Perhaps you might like to attend a short, meaningful time of reflection and celebration?  The Sonrise service starts at 6am.  We hope you can make it!

If you haven't been to church in a while, would you consider coming just this once, for Easter?  We would love to hear that this simple letter nudged you to go to church.  It would gladden our hearts to know that even if it were just for this one day, we could see you again and maybe, just maybe, you could bring the family too.  Let's face it, it's not the same without you!

We would like to welcome several new staff to AM1450.  Welcome to John Lofton, our new investigative reporter.  John will help us make sense of this crazy 2012 election and other important issues with timely, in depth reporting, analysis and commentary on his new program, Eye on Frederick.  Check him out on our website news tab.  Also, welcome our new intern, Alex Wellborn.  Alex is a student at FCC and a graduate of Catoctin High School.  Alex is an amazingly bright young man who is anxious to learn about radio.

Our family is growing, thanks to you!
